Payment Processors

Well, it’s time for one of those nice meaty beaty big and bouncy ‘informative’ posts. In the next day or two I will endeavour to bring you three real non-HYIP opportunities that are quite different to the other things on this site, and have only attracted good buzz so far.

But for now let’s concentrate on Payment Processors.

I won’t talk about Exchangers, etc. just yet, I’ll leave that for another day, another post.

Anyway, here is a run down on some of the more popular payment processors available to you on The Internets (sic). Payment processors are pretty much a storage hole (nice terminology) for your money online.

There are two main types – those that accept and store your currency, (like Paypal and Stormpay) and those that accept and hold your money as a precious metal (like E-Gold) to avoid currency fluctuation.

E-Gold

E-Gold is the big gun and grandaddy of money/precious metal storage online. They allow anonymous, fast transfers and are extremely popular. You’ll pretty much need an E-Gold account.

As of late they have experienced some minor downtimes and server difficulty.

More worryingly, apparently the FBI has just raided their US offices and some people are saying its doomsday, though there’s no physical evidence of that.

E-Gold is also the most easily hacked and is used for the most scams and money laundering. That’s the down-flipside to its fast, easy-to-use anonymity.

E-Bullion

E-Bullion is like E-Gold’s big silent bad ass brother. It’s not as popular but is gaining fast due to its similar structure, minimal fees and extreme security options (compared to E-Gold.)

It’s kinda like E-Gold with a prettier site, and more options forthcoming, and an option for “E-Currency” which eliminates precious metal fluctuations from the line up.

Pecunix

Pecunix is like the underdog of the payment processors. It also offers good fees, and stores your money as precious metals.

Another advantage is cool security as well – they have not yet been hacked (hence the reason for Global Mutual taking them on as their Neverending Stori currency of choice.)

I love Pecunix, what more can I say?

Paypal

Well, Paypal isn’t really available for many HYIPs, but for other investment opportunities and marketing it is often available. Paypal have stirred controversy with hacked accounts in the past, as well as Paypal apparently nicking people’s money, which kinda sounds unreasonable.

These days they are the giant of more traditional payment processing online.

Stormpay

Stormpay, like Paypal, is not about precious metals. Your money is not backed by precious metals. It’s gaining popularity but used to suffer from massive fees (over 6% of funds received.)

It’s got lots of cool little things like Stormclix, which is basically a paid to read ad service which gives you instant payments of a few cents here and there to your Stormpay account.

They’re always adding new features and cool stuff.

Most importantly – if you sign up and get NetIBA verified (just follow the link!) your fees will lower to 2.39% which is much much more reasonable. With the likes of Alientrust dumping E-Gold for Stormpay, now would be the time to jump in and get NetIBA verified.

Well, that’s it for the basics. Short and sweet. Sign up for them all, they’re free. E-Gold is the most used at the moment, but the others all have their uses as well.

Till next time, ciao.
