Alientrust Keeps Us Updated

Well, some more positive updates from Alientrust come our way...

"Good Afternoon Everyone,

I wanted to let everyone know that the new support system is now partially operational. I say partially because there are a few things that don't work just right yet. The email parser is still not interacting correctly with qmail, so we can't yet respond to, or initaite tickets from the desktop, but we're sure that we can find the error and get it corrected. (anyone with any qmail experience might drop us a line)

We're in the process of renegotiating our office. We had rented a very small office right down the street from both Brian and I, but when we started rennovating, we discovered it had bad wiring and termites..... so.......

We're negotiating for a beautiful 1300 sq. ft suite and one of our major financial buildings here right in the heart of WF. It's a gorgeous space with plenty of room and the ability to grow a little.

And since I have you here I might as well give you the new rundown on how the NSM structure functions so you'll have a better idea of exactly how we work, and why this concept will be successful.

Technically NSM IS a company, but the way we function is much more of a co-operative. All of us, from myself to Brian and everyone else are all independent contractors and come together to help strengthen not only our opporunities, but the industry as well. As such, there is no stringent accountability structure, we all know what needs to get done, and we all do our part.

But I thought I might list all of our current business partners so you will have an idea of who you'll be dealing with as the merger takes full effect. We all taken new titles, and the functions of our duties have changed quite a bit.

Vince Kronlein - Executive Director
Brian Sams - Managing Director
Melissa Miller - Deputy Managing Director
Stephanie Kronlein - Finance Director
Jennifer Sams - Deputy Finance Director

Then we have either 1 or 2 more spots to fill, but we'll find the right folks for that as we move forward.

The telephone system remains a pain in the *** and needs a complete overhaul. We still haven't changed the message and I'll try to get that taken care of here shortly, but keep in mind folks right now that is only a message system and doesn't get checked very often so please use the support system till we post the new telephone numbers.

Both Brian and I will be doing Support Tickets until the rest of the staff comes on full time, they all have some time left at the old jobs, but the entire team will be on-sight on Feb 1st for sure.

I'll post some pics later of the new office and we'll release the address once we're certain that's where we'll be.

The support button in the Control Panel is now hot, so if you sent any email requests over the past few days, you'll need to re-post those as a support ticket in the new system so they can be tracked properly.

The FAQ will be built via answers to support tickets using the knowledgebase system in Kayako so that will come along as we go.

It's all flling into place - I love it when a plan comes together :)

Talk to you soon.....

V"

Good stuff, right? You not in yet! Why not? :P
