Private Opps Kicks Ass!
Okay, my heading for this post is a very positive bit of rah-rah.
Why? Well, I know PrivateOpps are not exactly NS-FG when it comes to apparent legitimacy or transparency or anything, and I still consider them a 'medium risk HYIP' but damn they have impressed me over the past few days!
If they are a ponzi they are a damn well-run, glitchless one.
Why am I loving their behaviour? Why, their inside info on Stormpay before anyone else published it (inside info hinted at from the banks) even though they NEVER USED STORMPAY! Due to their good behaviour I've bought a few more units as a good bet. :)

Hello everyone. It is my pleasure to present you with our 3rd monthly
Newsletter, packed with recent news and updates from your friends at
PrivateOpps!
Last week we introduced a new Contract - ARB.I - which became an instant
success, with over $140,000 already invested! Next on our list is
FIXED-ODDS.III, brought to you by the club behind FIXED-ODDS.I and II.
Speaking of which, last week FIXED-ODDS.I sold out! All 10,000 Units
have been purchased since July 2005, making it the first Contract to end
its offering to new Participants.
Coming up this summer is our very own Debit Card solution. Additional
information will be released in next month's newsletter. Stay tuned!

Here are some statistics (as of Feb. 3, 2006, 11:15am EST) for those
number-lovers out there:
* 3,725 registered PrivateOpps Participants since July 20, 2005
* 2,952 of them currently hold Units
* $1,893,045 currently invested in "Contract" Units
* $374,033 in profits withdrawn by Participants thus far
* $161,193 earned by Participants in our Referral Program
* 2,594 emails / support tickets processed
* 770 registered Users in our Forum
* and... 7 DDoS attacks sustained so far, all mitigated within a few
hours

(3) Urgent StormPay WARNING
Two months ago we urged users to immediately leave INTGold, following a
string of bad news. A few days later they collapsed, and we were glad to
receive many emails from members who told us they were able to
out-exchange in time thanks to our warning.
Today we would like to do the same, this time with a different payment
system. Get out of StormPay while you can!
PrivateOpps never accepted StormPay for either deposits or withdrawals,
and we had a good reason - we never trusted them. It now appears that
StormPay is freezing high-value accounts, and is flooded with Credit
Card charge-back requests from many members who suffered losses recently
at various Ponzi schemes StormPay supported. It is also reported by
various sources that several banks are now in the process of closing
StormPay's merchant and bank accounts.
These events can lead to one thing only - an inevitable collapse.
PrivateOpps hereby advises its Participants to immediately cease use of
the StormPay system.

(4) Upcoming improvements to our e-gold processing engine
We are currently in the process of improving our e-gold logistical
procedures, security protocols, and reserve system. As a result, until
next week (the 9th or 10th), e-gold withdrawals will not be processed
instantly. Once submitted, your withdrawal will be Pending manual
processing by our staff. Some withdrawals may be delayed until the new
system is fully integrated.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and are looking forward to
implementing our more efficient e-gold transactional engine.
Please also note that our e-gold account for incoming deposits has
recently changed as part of our new system implementation. Be sure to
always use our automated e-gold funding option to prevent "Spends" to
accounts that are no longer in use.

(5) Account's Security Answer now required for all withdrawals and
changes to account information
As of last week, all withdrawal requests and changes to the account
information ('Edit Profile' page) must be authenticated by entering the
account's Security Answer (as specified during the sign-up process or
later modified). If you had forgotten it, simply contact us and we will
be happy to work with you in resetting it.
This comes a day after a PrivateOpps Participant had his account
compromised soon after a malicious user illegally gained access to his
computer through a spyware program. The "hacker" managed to access
files on the Participant's computer containing access information to
PrivateOpps, e-gold, and primary email account - among other systems.
Fortunately, the "hacker" was only able to retrieve some of the
Participant's funds before we put a hold on the account pending further
investigation.

(6) ARB.I (Sports Arbitrage) new Contract is now available!
On January 24, we announced the launch of the much-anticipated Sports
Arbitrage Contract - ARB.I.
Coming to PrivateOpps by a group of highly successful Sports Arbitrage
professionals, ARB.I offers Participants daily returns of between 1.3%
and 2.0%. The club has been operating privately for the past 2 years
with an excellent track record - they average a staggering 1.6% per day
for their investors!
Thanks to the enormous success of PrivateOpps, the club has now agreed
to open up their member base to Participants through our proprietary
online system. At the same time, PrivateOpps management has full access
to all transaction records and intends to perform weekly audits as we do
with all private clubs.
The current minimum Holding Period is set to 50 Calendar days. Of
course, those interested can always continue to hold all or some of
their Units even after the Holding Period expires, and continue to
accrue the daily interest until they are ready to sell their Units.

Popular among Participants who wanted to "test the waters" and start
small (which is a very smart investing strategy), 10,000 Units of
FIXED-ODDS.I have been purchased since July 2005.
In preparations for the launch of FIXED-ODDS.III, the private club will
not be issuing any new Units. Existing holders of FIXED-ODDS.I Units
may, of course, continue to hold them for as long as they wish and earn
interest as usual. Upon redemption, the Units will not return to the
online marketplace."
