The Saga Of Global Mutual

Global Mutual have had their fair share of ups and downs that's for sure, but as long each up increases on the previous up, I'm happy.

Does that make sense to anyone?

Anyway, as I have stated GM seem to be really kicking into gear for the long haul now. They're going private soon people - remember that. If you have a spare $10 (or whatever the minimum is to get a little stake these days) you'd do much better putting it here instead of a ponzi.

Wow, that sounds like a bunch of marketing speak so far doesn't it? Don't worry, it's not. This is one of those genuine "I think y'all will want to be part of this" speeches.

One of the things that has been lacking, and has been the irk of many has been customer support.

Global Mutual support sucked. Nes support sucked harder. And VCShares support? Sucked hardest.

I have opined that I believe this is all about to change. The introduction of TJ in charge of Global Mutual tickets definitely saw some improvement there.

Now, TJ has the power to help out with pretty much any query. Gordon is assembling a VIP team to help members. Mr. Anon, GM's largest investor, is now online to help out with things too (he previously was allowed to audit all Aussie Mutual's books, etc. offline!) Gordon is now back online in a much larger capacity that Aussie Mutual is back on track...

So, I opined that all these factors would speed support.

Today I have a confirmation of that fact - a mate of mine is in the Neverending Stori. He had an account problem... Within the space of three days it was sorted! Now for those of you who know about Global Mutual, you will know that is pretty much the speed of light.

I'm happy. Good times ahead. It was hard to keep the faith when Gordon was silent online and busy offline, but with prodding from the likes of Mr. Anon who understands the importance of communication things definitely look rosier than a baby's buttcheeks, and even if Gordon has to take care of something again in the future, we should still see lines of communication.

If we don't, good old Chancer will follow it up for y'all.

Quite a few people have missed some parts of the big updates. Here's a recap for those playing at home:

1. A lot of funds were lost. Hackers, bad business decisions, incompetant employees, bad investments. However, Gordon still continued to pay us interest. Instead of running away he lowered interest rates and created VCShares. What more could we ask for? He's still here and so is our money.

2. Between the 30th of March and April, all pending withdrawals will be paid. There will be a window within which you can withdraw all the money from a holding account.

3. After this point (30th April) Global Mutual will close (go private) and everyone will be converted to VCShares. It's really good to see Gordon understanding the importance of uniformity now! TJ says that the plans to leave Extreme plans within GM open are only tentative and in fact everything may go to VCShares. It'll be one unified place for our money, and we'll get monthly dividends which could be quite juicy as well as a kick in the butt for our share prices.

4. TJ will now be forwarding all NES tickets directly to the NES coder/programmer. Expect to see an improvement here. He also expects that all tickets will be answered within 24 - 48 hours as he knocks through the backlog.

Cool, no? The lines of communication are open. I'll keep y'all updated on VCShares profits, GM withdrawals and the transition to private.

Don't miss the opportunity...

Global Mutual
GM VCShares (this will take over from GM and we should see a unified dividend from all monthly profits here... simplifying the system a lot!)
NeverendingStori (best $100 you may ever spend.)

Always something interesting going on isn't there?
