Updates - 21st March 2006

Well some nice juicy updates today.

First up, there's some positive news floating around HYIP Discussion right now about GMI. Seems that Gordon is really getting things back on track, as I knew he eventually would! (Or at least 99.9% knew.)

Most importantly here is an update from Tobor, a member of the community that I respect. He actually met with Gordon face to face as people have in the past and here is his meaty beaty big and bouncy (and honest) update!

"Well as Chancer has suggested, I will post a few notes from my face to face meeting with Gordon in Sydney last week. Although I would have to say that Gordon has stolen my thunder. So in many ways, this post will simply serve to confirm the things that Gordon has said in his official update.

Gordon and I met for a light lunch. My first impession was that Gordon wasn't looking well and he confirmed that he had been ill with a virus. I would hazard a guess that because of his prior illness, any new virus really knocks him about.

As Gordon has stated, he has spent the last few weeks restructuring the real business behind GM. This was apparent from his offices which he now shares with a partner business that includes financial planners, accountants and attorneys. They have taken over the main lease allowing Gordon to reduce expenses. This is one of several changes that Gordon has implemented.

The restructure has also required his complete attention hence why GM and NES support and updates have slipped. I am not apologising for him but as one who has and continues to run real businesses, I could sympathise. Gordon said that he has asked TJ to handle all support including VC shares. And I see that TJ is getting through the support tickets. (Thanks, TJ.)

I am not going to go into Gordon's actual business dealings but since he mentioned mortgages in his update, let me clarify that he is referring to an income stream where his business obtains a brokerage commission for facilitating a mortgage loan with customers. The process takes several weeks and Gordon expects a lead time of 4-6 weeks to receive cash. This is why he expects to be in a position to give a respectable dividend at the end of March.

I also queried Gordon about NES interest. Chancer can attest that I PM'ed him (Chancer that is) a few weeks ago to say that I seemed to be receiving 5% interest instead of 1%. My concern was that if there was a software error, it might make NES unviable. As Gordon revealed today in his update, he had deliberately increased the interest as a trial. I was as happy as anyone else to see today that he has now made it a permanent feature of NES.

So, I came away from my second meeting with Gordon more convinced than ever that unlike ponzis, Gordon has a real vision and a real business. And as with any real business, there are real ups and downs and no guarantees. But hopefully with the restructure there will now be more ups than downs.

Over to you, Gordon ..."

Gordon also posted earlier in that thread. He has never been genius at customer support or PR, but these things are slowly improving overall, especially with people like TJ around. In the past month or so this has really dipped, but as Tobor explains this is due to the illness + the complete restructure of Aussie Mutual! Investors with over $10,000 can now get a nice detailed report from Gordon (VIP Investors) including what has gone wrong, bad calls he has made, and the positive outlook for the future... GM keeps on keeping on.

And I'm looking forward to those tasty GMI VC Shares Dividends at the end of the month!

Seriously guys, I don't know why more people don't jump into something like Global Mutual yet so many people will jump into scam crap like Solid Investment!

So there's some big positive updates for y'all to chew on - Gordon hasn't forgotten about us!

FX-Experts

Good ole' Marcos, the admin from FX-Experts has thrown up a clarifying update:

"

Dear FX-Experts Members,

In our quest for better performance and security for our work and FX-Experts, we are announcing that from March 25th, 2006 we are going to make simple modification to the system of deposits:

From the date above and going forward, your deposits will be credited for the FOLLOWING trading WEEK, and no longer the following trading DAY, as it functions at the moment.

In summary you will start to earn profit on the first TRADING-DAY of the FOLLOWING Trading Week.

For Example:

If you deposited funds on Sunday March 26th, 2006 your funds would not start to earn profits till Monday April 3rd, 2006.

If you deposited funds on Saturday April 1st, 2006 your funds would not start to earn profits till Monday April 3rd, 2006.

Deposits received on Saturdays (AT THE LATEST 11:59 PM EASTERN TIME), will start earning profits on that MONDAY (if it is a trading day).
This does NOT affect compounding.

We thank you for your understanding,

Marcos Matos"

Now guys, this is another great opportunity and I continue to be impressed with thier conduct.

PrivateOpps

PrivateOpps is down for me at the moment... another DDOS attack? I think they'll be around for a while at least yet.

Also worth mentioning is that some of our members suggested we add a new payment processor called ebullion. We decided to do some research about using ebullion as our payment processor, and it seems like it could be done.
We’ve created a poll for members to vote on the idea, so please state your opinion here: compactforum.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=74

On top of this, we’re pleased to announce that our team is expanding. We have 3 new employees: Engedi, Bryce, and Med. Should you need any help, do not hesitate to ask them. They will support you in any way they possibly can. The threesome are forum moderators along with Nicholas.

Finally, we have dedicated two more employees to review and approve/reject your websites on a hourly basis. Unfortunately, yesterday we had a small bug with the website approval script, and some of your websites were erased. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience; it should never happen again. It’s been fixed, so all you have to do is re-submit your website.

Best Regards,
Luuk, Nicholas and Olivia”

It’s mostly a frivolous pat on the back update, but one key point is the possible introduction of E-Bullion, which I would love to see at CompactSurf! Not many autosurfs have this option.
