Well a bit of news from the world of autosurfs...

“Hey Gang,

I see some of you have been checking up on us lol:) Calling RackSpace - that’s really funny. Anyway, I just wanted to update everyone on the server move, we’re getting things configured today and we’re shooting for this evening, or I guess I should say tomorrow morning to begin the migration.

All the files have been moved, we just need to stop all the connections to the database to we can get a good back up and then dump it and move it over the RS.

Once that’s complete, we’ll repoint the domain and we’re off! Keep in mind it may take quite some time to propogate over depending on where you are in the world. We’ll make tomorrow a surfing holiday and write a script to do a mass credit to everyone’s account.

This will only be a 24 hour holiday and after tomorrow at midnight we’ll turn stuff back on and you’ll be able to surf, if it’s not propogated where you are then you’ll nee to watch closely to make sure you get your surfing in on the following day.

Remember guys this is tentative, if you see a surf holiday message tonight at midnight server time you’ll know that we got everything done and we’re doing the move, if not then we’ll simply try again tomorrow.

I know many of you have open support requests and Melissa and Brian are going through them as quickly as they can to get your issues resolved. I can’t really help much as this is taking up alot of time trying to learn how to run this new system, there are so many security features I end up locking myself out lol

Anyway, that’s the latest guys and we’ll keep you updated if anything else comes up.

I also forgot to mention that Got-Zip commissions were out a while ago for December 2005 as well, and they were once again a leap on the previous months commissions. Check this opportunity out, it could be a big 'un!
