CIM Update

Here's a self-explanatory Community Investors Mutual update, which basically means I don't have to write some lame commentary where I try to be 'humourous.'

"Dear Members,

We have received numerous emails from existing as well as potential members questioning the need for keeping personal information about themselves. It seems there is a general preference that names, addresses and phone numbers not be included in members records and there has been a consistent clamor that these details be removed from our customer database.

After much discussion among the senior members of our club it has been decided that for the safety and privacy of all members we shall no longer maintain in our database personal information other than the email address and e-gold account number of each member.

All names of members, addresses and phone numbers will be erased from our system and permanently deleted from our files and databases. Members will be identified solely by their email addresses and egold numbers. We will still ask for the country of residence purely for statistical purposes.

Please ensure that all your communications (such purchase/sale of MPUs) with us contain your email address and egold account number for identification. If you have any questions please contact us via email.
