Compact... Do Stuff!

Well here’s a nice little Compact Surfing update. A lottery is definitely a feasable idea to help prolong the ride a little longer add another revenue stream. They often get quite popular and I’m sure we’ll see a lot of members taking a punt.

There’s nothing said about Compact Pay besides the fact it’s in development. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into a NMEPay/Phoenix Debit Card style situation - I doubt it will (or at least I hope it won’t.) Compact have proven themselves to have better nous when it comes to dealing with growth and their members.

“Dear Compactsurfing members,

We hope that you are all having a wonderful weekend. This is just an update on the direction the Compact Network is taking with some exciting site additions in the near future.

Compactlottery is currently being tested and in the final stages of development. The office location from which the site will be managed is in Costa Rica. Operating lottery websites from Costa Rica is currently an acceptable endeavor that does not require specific licensing from the state. Non citizens are welcome to participate. There are more than 130 internet casinos and sportsbooks in Costa Rica, and the state’s attitude towards licensing is one of indifference until any legislation regarding the industry is agreed upon. As long as a company has a business license with the state, which we do, they are welcome to operate such a site. You may refer to the following website for further details: here

The distribution of rewards at this point will remain confidential for now but we assure you that there will be many winners. The lottery will be held every week, beginning at 12 AM EST Monday and ending 12 AM EST Sunday. Ticket sales will thus be open for 7 days, and on Sunday midnight time winning tickets will be drawn and announced. Since the lottery will be held every week, that means more chances for you to win. Tickets will be sold for 5 USD each and a maximum of 100 may be purchased by each member per week. Winners will be paid promptly after they request a cashout. Anyone with an Egold account and valid email address is welcome to join. Compactsurfing members are being notified in advance and we hope that you will spread the word in public forums and to your friends when CS staff officially announce the site’s launch when it is ready.

Compactpay is also in development at the moment. CS staff will announce its launch when it is finalized and ready to go. At the present moment, our company is strong financially and the member base for Compactsurfing is growing quickly, with over 11,500 members now having joined. Payouts are as usual being sent within 48 hours of cashout request and we thank you all for your support. We will continue to develop and enhance what our Network offers all of you to make you happy, because it is your support that has led to our success in the past few months since the Network made its public debut.

With best of regards,

Luuk, Olivia, Nicholas, and Staff
Altus Financial Services Inc.”

Autosurf Updates - 30th April 2006

Now with a juicy bit of Phoenix Surf soap opera.

So, I'm weaning myself off Phoenix Surf as I said. In fact, when I get my last payout I'm moving them next to MPDW in the sidebar. Sure, I'll be keeping a minimal amount in, just to keep tabs in them, but nothing more than the $8 spend for a few months at least - if they pull off a miracle and prove themselves, I'll consider getting back in.

Now, here's the latest word on the downtime:

" Dear members,

As I promised, I am posting/emailing an update about the current situation with
Phoenixsurf. Many members have had questions concerning what we have done to
eliminate the problem with the DDOS attacks, as well as cashout questions. I
will try to answer those questions now.

We have a new server as of now. We have implemented phenomenal security
measures that have limited the DDOS attacks. If we were to remove this
security, we would be swarmed with a billion attacks, so we know that our
security measures are working. The problems is, they are working too good.
Because of these new measures, our system will detect a certain amount of
activity from an IP address and it will limit that IP to a minimum amount of
traffic from that IP address. This is great, because it definitely limits the
DDOS attacks and keeps us up and running. The problem is, it is limiting
egolds IP address as well, so we are not able to go in and do cashouts or allow
for upgrades. Egold has a certain IP address that we need in order to resolve
this problem. We are currently trying to contact them to get this address. If
we are unable to receive this IP address today, then it will be Monday before we
can do anything. The DDOS attacks have not been stopped, but it has definitely
limited them, so removing our security to do cashouts or upgrades is not an
option. We are hoping to have all problems resolved by Monday, or at least
sometime next week. Until we have this situation taken care of, members will be
on a surf holiday. We have also contacted Cisco systems to discuss further
security measures if we decide we need more, but we are not currently using
them.

For those members that have not received an email from us, the Fasttrack fees
have been removed from your advertising upgrades and your upgrades have been
changed to a regular scheduled upgrade; 4-7 business days. We will begin
processing cashouts as soon as we have the IP address that we need from egold.
We will pay the oldest cashouts first and move towards the most current ones.
There are some that have not been paid since the 14th, so they will be paid
before any upgrades expiring on the 27th.

Some members have not been able to connect to Phoenixsurf. This is because
everything has not propagated yet. Once everything has propagated, everyone
will be able to connect and continue surfing.

I know that this does not cover everything, but it covers the most important
things. We are working hard to resolve all issues, and will continue to do
whatever it takes to get things up and running as quickly as possible. Thank you
for your support as we continue to overcome those who would seek to harm our
program, and I will keep you updated as much as possible.

To Our Success,

David Clark
NME/PS Administrator"

Fair enough - though many people have speculated that the DDOS is BS.

Now, this is where the interesting soap opera parts come in. NMEAdmin David popped by HYIP Discussion. I posed him this question:

"Have you any feedback on the fact that many people believe the Phoenix forum is being too heavily censored, and also for a lot of people the debit card is not practical?"

He replied:

"If the forums were not censored, then we would have another TalkGold now wouldn't we? We are running a business, not playing a game as some would like to think. Can you go into a business and just question their business decisions and throw fits about them? I'm afraid not. If you were an employee, you would not last very long questioning the boss. PS is a business and it will continue to remain that way. I will keep all the trash out of there if I have to ban every user from the forum.

The debit card may not be pratical in your life, or be easily used by you, but for the majority, they are very happy that we have made this decision to remove away from egold. Some will like the idea and some will not. That is the way it is with any business and any decisions that a business makes.

We are going to protect our members, and egold has no future in that protection. Sorry if you are disatisfied with this, but it is a final decision, and not only one that WE have made, but MANY of the other programs. It was an industry wide decision.

Thanks and God Bless!"

Uh... I don't see Wired and Compact eliminating E-Gold. So it's not an 'industry wide decision.' Already I'm beginning not to be impressed with his 'candour.' See how I asked a global question and suddenly it is 'you you you.' For example - 'The debit card may not be pratical in your life...' This was giving me shades of MPDW. Amateur hour spin with doses of vague condescension.

Colour me entertained, but not impressed with the admin.

Here's some more choice moments in response to my posts and others (mainly a fellow poster called "Bridenboy.")

"And you think that your words effect our business? When everything is resolved, and everyone is paid, then you can eat your words I have nothing to say to ya..... We have proven ourselves over and over to being faithful to take care of our members, from late fasttracks, to surf holidays, and a few other things that you are even unaware of. So, while everyone else is standing behind us and you are accusing us, they will be very happy and you will remain to be just the way you are right now."

"I do understand the situation and the concerns.....but to you sir, nugatory, effrontery of miniscule minds have never bothered me, so I'll just ignore you and not post any updates in this forum. Sorry to bother you! I hope you when you get paid, and you WILL get paid, that you just decide to drop out of the program.

I come OUT of my way to bring information here....to keep communication open, and you have the audacity to be the pious puke that you are. I pray God first of all forgive me for the anger I have allowed to build up inside and then He forgives you for acting assinine! Cheers!"

He did howeve apologize when I called him on referring to everything as if it was me personally, not a global question, in his first response, so I have to give him credit for that:

"And for my last response in this forum. Nothing was directed towards you and I apologize if you took it that way."

It was a begrudging apology but one nonetheless.

My advice? As it has been, get out of Phoenix. Even more so now. If they're so happy without us, let your last cashouts come and be done with it, at least beyond a minimal spend. That's my advice.

The PhoenixAdmin, to me, has shades of the MPDW admin's. Vague responses, and a 'we don't need you atmosphere.' They also have a nasty habit of attacking the members.

There is someone - Rod from Udachu - who can pull this off. Why?

He's funny. :) Something these people aren't. And he doesn't cross the line of decorum to the point where he is specifically attacking members.

Humour goes a long way.

Compact Surfing

I was paid promptly within 30 hours for my cashout request.

Wired Surf

Well the last of my old upgrade payments came through, within I think it was 5 business days of it's expiry - all my next payouts are with instapay and the new system. Looks like the old backlog is nearly cleared out. I'm beginning to think these guys have definitely got what it takes to get the momentum back, at least for a sizeable while.

Phoenix Post

Well, the NME Admin popped in at HYIPDiscussion to throw us the following tidbit on Phoenix Surf:

"Guys,

We are working hard to get everything back up and running, and yes, even the Fasttrack option.

We are still around, and I'm just letting our members know that we are going to take care of them."

Phoenix Investment Group - The Next FX-Experts!

No.

Phoenix Investment Group is a new HYIP that opened yesterday.

I was able to contact one of their traders, and I did an interview (an online interview) with him. He goes by the name "Balajti John." Let's get straight into it... Here's the interview. Comments to follow:

cenhancer: G'day mate, it's Chancer.
Johnny DJ: Good morning
Johnny DJ:
Johnny DJ: I'll be back in 20 minutes. I'm going to eat my launch
Johnny DJ: k ?
cenhancer: No worries mate.
cenhancer: I'll stick around for a while.
Johnny DJ: k
Johnny DJ: back
cenhancer: I was wondering if I could ask you some questions in relation to PhoenixVest?
Johnny DJ: yes you can
Johnny DJ: it's a new hyip site tough
cenhancer: I'll get straight to them, and as I'm sure you understand these days we look for something a little more with our DD, so don't take any of them personally if they seem 'negative' I'm merely asking questions!
cenhancer: What is your name? Who are you within PhoenixVest?
Johnny DJ: I'm John
Johnny DJ: And I'm only their trader
Johnny DJ: I know George around 2 months now
cenhancer: Balajti John, from the About Us page?
Johnny DJ: yes
Johnny DJ: Romania
Johnny DJ:
cenhancer: Cool! Are you able to provide any proof of identity?
Johnny DJ: why do you need that?
Johnny DJ: *nervous smiley*
Johnny DJ: I don't want to disclouse my self to anyone
cenhancer: How can you offer such high returns?
cenhancer: You must be trading pretty high leverage.
Johnny DJ: I'm an experienced trader
Johnny DJ: 1:500
Johnny DJ:
cenhancer: But doesn't that bring with it a large amount of risk?
cenhancer: You could lose it all in a moment.
Johnny DJ: I have lost 4-5 years ago
Johnny DJ: not now
Johnny DJ:
Johnny DJ: More than 3 years I'm trading ONLY in profit
cenhancer: What pairs do you mainly trade?
Johnny DJ: E/U very often, G/U, G/J, E/J, U/J and U/CAD
cenhancer: So you are trying to tell me you haven't had a single losing trade in 3 years?
Johnny DJ: no no no
Johnny DJ: I said trading in profit
Johnny DJ: that means, after 1 month, I have profit
Johnny DJ: including my loss and my profit
Johnny DJ: so let's say I make 50% profit in a month
Johnny DJ: that means I traded around 60%
Johnny DJ: 0% loss
Johnny DJ: 10% loss
cenhancer: To support the 200% plan you would have to make around 200%+ a month. (As there are fees, commissions, etc. to take into account.)
Johnny DJ: I'm talking about 20 trading days
cenhancer: Are you able to consistently do this?
Johnny DJ: on phoenix, they have other offline investments as I was told
cenhancer: Which broker do you use?
Johnny DJ: Oanda and Marketiva
Johnny DJ: I trade e-gold on Marketiva
Johnny DJ: and I trade my money on Oanda
cenhancer: Are you able to provide any proof of your account beyond a screenshot?
Johnny DJ: *nervous smiley*
Johnny DJ: like I said
Johnny DJ: I don't want to disclouse such things
Johnny DJ: I'm posting everyday my tradings summary on that forum that you saw
cenhancer: Yet FX-E have let trusted members of the community log into their trading accounts in real time, and NSFG provide managed accounts and real time updates (including their plans for trading before they make them.) You have to understand, it is easy to fake a screenshot - and it is easy to talk about trades AFTER you have made them.
cenhancer: Is there some other way you can establish your legitimacy?
Johnny DJ: sorry but no
Johnny DJ: If someone wants to benefit from my services, they choose me
cenhancer: Can I choose you directly, and have you trade for me (in a MA setup) therefore proving your abilities?
Johnny DJ: MA setup? what do you mean ?
Johnny DJ: I trade only on my platforms, with my accounts
cenhancer: A Managed Account.
Johnny DJ: lol
cenhancer: When did Phoenix approach you?
Johnny DJ: 2 months ago George (admin) choosed me from a bunch of traders on Marketiva
Johnny DJ: the site opened yesterday
Johnny DJ: so Monday is trade day
Johnny DJ:
cenhancer: Is it possible you are an unwitting pawn, and they are a scam? Have you seen any proof to back any of their claims, such as 200% a month/
Johnny DJ: I don't really think they are a scam
Johnny DJ: They were working hard to get this togheter
Johnny DJ: And we have some good traders I know very good
Johnny DJ: like Henry and Wiyaja
Johnny DJ: maybe you know them
cenhancer: Do you think any of you have the ability to make 200% a month, consistently?
cenhancer: And to prove it?
Johnny DJ: I don't think so
Johnny DJ: that means 100% profit
Johnny DJ: It can be done only in some cases
Johnny DJ: but not consistently
cenhancer: Yet the site offers a 200% (100% profit) a month plan
Johnny DJ: yeah
Johnny DJ: I asked about that too, and George said they have offline businesses too
cenhancer: Did he give you any indication as to what they were? What could consistently generate such high returns?
Johnny DJ: So the traders will have to take care of the first 2 plans
cenhancer: And if he can generate such high returns 'offline' why would he need traders?
Johnny DJ: Because he wants to develope his business maybe
Johnny DJ: He didn't gave me any indication
Johnny DJ: My problem is only to trade
Johnny DJ: He gives me 1K gold and I trade then
Johnny DJ: that's all
Johnny DJ:
cenhancer: Are you able to provide screenshots of your trading history at least?
Johnny DJ: lol. they are being deleted on every friday
Johnny DJ: and screenshot of my acocunt, I don't provide to anyone
cenhancer: Would any of the contracted traders provide such information?
Johnny DJ: what do you mean ?
cenhancer: Do you think any of the other traders would actually be able to provide any proof of their trades?
cenhancer: Rather than just saying they have?
Johnny DJ: hmm. Henry has a site
Johnny DJ: but I don't think Wiyaja would show you anything
Johnny DJ: we have policy
cenhancer: Unfortunately for Henry I don't speak German.
Johnny DJ: he speaks english
cenhancer: His site is in German.

Well there you have it people.

The parts where I added "nervous smiley" were actually portions of the conversation where he used a nervous smiley to respond to my questions.

I think it's pretty clear from that interview that Phoenix Investment Group are pretty dodgy looking.

I have a theory - a bunch of scammer admins grabbed some of the known traders off Marketiva and contracted them to trade for the PhoenixVest program.

Balajti John probably is actually trading, but is he as good or as professional as what we see from people like Kenneth from NSFG? I doubt it. Most Marketiva traders are risk-takers, bold, and without consistency, just trying to clock up pips. Good for their own accounts, but in charge of so many other people's? From what I have seen over the past few months - no.

I know of very, very few traders who use Marketiva professionally. It's like a kiddie pool or sand box - a great way to get an introduction but not much more. Marketiva itself offers referral commissions, and people have cried wolf over them being a scammer broker in the past.

That's beside the point. I think Phoenix Group has enlisted the help of some traders, quite possibly real traders, to unwittingly help them in their scam.

It's a great little ploy to bring in the punters. It's also possible the trader's aren't real, or are fakes masquerading as the real guys. Either way, I would stay away from Phoenix Investment Network.

They claim they are part of the Phoenix Group - who the hell are they? Sounds like a cheap NME/Phoenix Surf knock off to me. Probably a bad choice to knock off at the moment as their reputation lessens as well.

The plans are 2% daily, 10% daily for 12 days and 200% in a month.

The site has the whole "Dream Team" template going for it, and prides itself on "Custom Script Program."

With a $1 deposit minimum, and all the stuff already listed...

Put these guys in the scam box.

They could claw their way out of the box of course - look at Fx-Experts, there was a lot of ill-will towards it at first, and many people shunned it, but Marcos proved himself. The ball is in their court, and somehow I don't think they'll be returning it.

I'd stay well away from them, pending any further miraculous developments.

And if the traders are real and unwitting pawns, I feel sorry for them!

I won't go into too much more as by now, the interview should be pretty self-explanatory, and I think I pointed out the inconsistencies and lack of proof within the actual interview if you read slightly between-the-lines! We demand much more from our programs these days. I'd do some more research, double check if the traders are real, etc. but there's not much point - there's no golden carrot dangling here to motivate me to dig any deeper. If you find out they're no good from the get-go, why go further? Unless an intriguing new bit of proof pops up.

You can find their site at Phoenix Investment Network.

Verdict: Guilty Until Proven Innocent.

Recommendation: Try FX-Experts instead.

WiredSurf... Explosion?

It would appear that WiredSurf’s new tactic is paying off and actually working.

The members are increasing at a quicker rate than ever before (just watch the counter on their home page.)

They’ve made cool comments about never getting rid of E-Gold, etc.

The members in their forum are exploding.

And most importantly - all people under Instapay have been paid within 24 hours that I am aware of so far, and the last of the payments from the old plan should be dwindling off soon (I am still waiting on one that is still well within the Terms.)

So, looks like WiredSurf is regaining a foothold - but it’s early days.

Super Juicy GM Update

Once again, my mate Tobor has come through with the good and got in contact with Gordon via phone this afternoon. (April 28th.)

And once again he has come back with a big juicy report. It's quick and detailed and has at least partial answers to probably three quarters of the most pertinent questions! Here it is (taken from here at HYIP Discussion):

"I phoned Gordon late this afternoon Australian time. I suppose that the first bit of reassuring news for those who have never met him is that he answered the phone (ie he has not run away ).

We had limited time (mostly on my part as I deal with some real world issues) so I tried to keep the conversation just to a couple of topics. That in itself is an achievement with Gordon as he has a fast paced mind with a million ideas on the go at once.

The first topic was the web sites and hosting issues. As you are aware GMI and NES have suffered from both DDoS and false spamming attacks in recent weeks. Gordon now has a pretty good idea where the attacks originated. I presumed a competitor but apparently it is more akin to a protection racket from an organisation that creates its own business by attacking and then through a related business/site offers attack-free hosting. I don't know enough about how mean-minded people (or crooks) operate against internet businesses, but I saw the evidence of some of what this organisation did to VC shares.

Anyway, as we know, Gordon was forced to change hosting arrangement and the transfer was not very clean - missing turing numbers, those silly clocks not working and NES login script errors. Gordon has just today secured a better host and will be moving again, this time hopefully with the benefit of lessons learnt from the last move. And he is also putting in place arrangements for an alternate site that he can move to fairly quickly should something happen in the future. I presume that GMI being back online and NES being sort of back (an old backup so I gather from the NES thread?) is because the move is in progress. Gordon expected it would take most of the weekend and even that depended on the availablity of his offshore programmer.

Talking about programmers, Gordon (finally) has found a programmer in his own continent, his own city even. I have seen some of this guy's work and on the surface it looks good. This guy runs his own business so is not Gordon's employee but knows Gordon and how he operates. He starts work next week. Hoohaa!

So we should see some working sites next week and progressively improved sites over the next few weeks. We pray .

My next area of interest was how Gordon's real business was going as our dollars fund this and it in turn will fund our earnings. The revamp has been fairly successful. I say fairly because everything takes longer than Gordon expected but he may be overly optimistic or sets unrealistic timeframes that he then has trouble meeting. But he assures me that new sales are coming through and that he is starting to receive the expected commission based cashflow. He is 2 weeks or more behind where he hoped to be by now. But it is happening.

This led to the inevitable question about withdrawals. Well, Gordon is behind (as we know) and will slowly catch up now that the cash has started to come in. And with the site attacks, he also has struggled to log in to the sites to pay anyone. He did comment that the last round of site attacks started as soon as he said he posted that he was processing payments.

So I personally am hoping to see my withdrawal request (still limited to $100 arghhh ) paid in the next couple of weeks.

Gordon touched on a few other things that were of interest to me but are not for a public forum. But I hope that I covered the essence of the things most on people's minds, certainly what was on mine.

Bottom line is Gordon has not run away, his real business is picking up thanks to our cashflow, he is moving to a new site with DoS protection, he has a more reliable programmer starting next week and he will resume payments as the business commissions come in."

The most important point to me is that Gordon has found a local, non-'sporadic' programmer. Just having continually working websites will be a sigh of relief for many of us I believe.

Next up, the NES site is indeed back up, but off an old backup it would appear. I have a few accounts there, and my newer accounts can't log in, and my original account - way back from close to the launch date - is back in November/December last year in terms of details/payments.

Let's hope they have a newer backup...

Anyway. At least the SQL error has gone!

It'll be nice to see some withdrawals processed again...

But I'm sure what many of you are waiting for are VCShares dividends. Gordon assured me last time we spoke that once he'd done the latest round of withdrawals he'd issue dividends. I assume he'll keep his promise, it just often times takes him a long time to get to that point.

Which brings a pertinent question - I think all plans should be scrapped and amalgamated into VCShares. VCShares and NES. Everyone with VCShares should then receive equal dividend payments.

It'd make things simpler, add value to the shares, start to soothe the nerves of the VCShares people with shares that are as of now pretty much worth jack...

According to his plan, Gordon is doing something SIMILAR to this, but I think he should go the whole hog. What do you think?

Comment people! No seriously. Have a go. I'll probably get some lame scammer commenting (look at my previous posts!) A bunch of automated spam robots are commenting on my posts, as they do most people, and I leave them there for a laugh. If they spam this post it'll be even funnier.

A BIG SHOUT OUT TO SPAM BOTS, YO!

Don't be afraid to throw your two cents into the pile. I encourage some dialogue.

Ciao y'all... GM always takes two steps forward and one step back.

Autosurfing Thoughts For The End Of April

Autosurfs are a game. Remember this - they are all ponzis. Some may be partial ponzis, which we hope. This allows us to take educated risks and get involved in something which should, in theory, last a lot longer than riding a ponzi HYIP.

Of course, an autosurf could come along touting itself as the holy grail and surprise the crud out of us by being backed by something completely real, or be such a 'partial ponzi' to allow it to prolong itself for years...

Anyway, in the meantime, if autosurfing's your bag, here's some thoughts and tips. Don't take anything I say as gospel though, remember, just another perspective on things.

(And if you're hot, female, between 18 - 34, and have the exact same perspective as me, send me an email. With photos.)

Chancer's finished being sleazy, so I just thought I'd reiterate - there's a lot of good programs out there that AREN'T ponzis as far as we can tell. That's what the sidebar's for. FX-Experts for example. So if you're currently riding the wave of autosurfs and realize that perhaps you should be splashing into something a little more 'real,' check it out!

CompactSurfing

CompactSurfing are extremely strong right now. Here's something I forgot to mention earlier - the fourth cashout request for April is FREE. That's right, no $100 fee. So take advantage of that if you have pending funds, the month is nearly over!

WiredSurf

Waiting to see how the new terms pan out. Site gets a little heavily overloaded as the days change and a lot of database errors pop up (which are usually solved with a refresh.)
If Instapay works, and all outstanding payments are paid off for the period of before the new changes, it could come up as the underdog and wrestle with Compact. Either way, it's an extra 15% than Phoenix.

Phoenix Surf

These guys hit the ground running but are about to start phasing out E-Gold, for a debit card that is just not practical for many members with smaller accounts (fees will eat not only into profits, but the principal as well.) I'd recommend a minimal spend at best for a while and see how they pan out - they're still worth keeping an eye on but are acting strange of late (condescending mods on their forums for example.) Also, there is a theory that the "DDOS Attack" of the last day or two was not a DDOS Attack at all. I was also annoyed greatly that I couldn't fasttrack my latest payment (and probably my last one above the $8 spend mark for a while.) For now, Compact is a much better bet.

Total Rune

These guys are impressing me so far. The little engine that could, the solid little contender in the background, with plenty of room for expansion.

If I had to rank them:

Compact (quick support, no slow down in payouts, lots of expansion planned and actually being enacted to 'prolong the ponzi.' Quality operation all around.)
Wired/Total Rune (solid and quiet in the background - steady growth, whereas Wired is poised for more sudden and explosive growth now.)
Phoenix (phase away from these guys.)

Anyway, just some thoughts. Autosurfing - ride the wave. But remember, until proven otherwise - a wave is all it is. A game with an educated guess.

Why Phoenix Surf Is Down

Title says it all.

Here's the official word on why Phoenix Surf is down right now:

"First of all, NME and PhoenixSurf are still ALIVE and growing despite
challenges that we could not control.

Yesterday, we received a massive DDos attack on the PhoenixSurf network.
(For those that don't know what a DDos attack is, please read the
definition at the end of this email.) To compensate for your inconvenience,
we have made the 26th, 27th, and 28th of April as surf holidays. This
means, that those people that have bought advertising packages that were
still active on the 26th, 27th, and 28th of April, will be paid their 15%
regardless if they surfed or not on these days. We will keep you all posted
as we are working hard to fix this challenge, implement the necessary
security measures and as we move PhoenixSurf to another server as well.
Please inform those that do not have an NMEGlobal.com account.

It is unfortunate that outside sources would even think of trying to hinder
our objective to help people attain financial freedom. Fortunately though,
our resolve is much stronger than they think. This doesn't make us weaker.
Make no doubt about it, this is going to make us stronger than ever before.
We are working on implementing security measures to limit these types of
attacks. And because of our loyal members, we will continue to grow in a
positive direction. Understand, that this is not only our company or
program... It is YOUR community. A community that allows you to work
together with the other members to ensure that everyone has financial
freedom. Remember our mission: We are not about making money. We are about
changing lives. And nothing will stop us to ensure that we fulfill this
mission."

The Sky Falls Down

Not really.

There's been a little bit of an uproar recently over 'losses in the FX-Experts trading accounts.'

It spread like wildfire and every uninformed git in the world has been shooting their mouth off about it. It started from a (quite good!) article by HansG, and then everyone took it, blindly misrepresented it, and ran screaming to the hills.

As per bloody usual. *shakes head*

I won't recap the situation in detail, only to say: "There were some losing trades."

Let me emphasize two things.

1. This reiterates that FX-Experts is a real program, with real trading.
2. Of course there's going to be losing trades.

But here is a post from Rabbit (check out his blog in my blog roll) from the HYIPDiscussion (also in the sidebar) FX-Experts thread about the situation:

"OK guys since I know where the source of HansG and the others "confirmation" is coming from let me clarify something here. First let me explain something here. Not only do I have live access to FX-Experts account, but I also have a live account of my own that the FX-Experts trader trades (I mentioned veyr early in this thread that I would get the trader to trade for me as well in a few months). Anyhow, neither my account nor FX-Experts actually lost 20%. The equity in the account did fluctuate down by about 20%. However, it was never a hard drawdown, but based on fluctuations that were (and still are) open. IN fact the positions are now in the positive and jumped from a -20% to +25% and is now settled at about 10%. Note these numbers are from my account but pretty much mirror the fx-experts.

Now some will say this is too much risk. To get 12%+ per month the leverage will have to be on the higher side. On a personal level, I am more interested in the performance over time that the leverage the trader uses (I am also interested in higher returns). Open positions on the account will have big swings which is why they are called Swing or Positional trades. The trader is not daytrading but swing trading, and have his own system that he is using... He will only close a trade in the negative if his system to other circumstances tell him to.

Anyhow I have been watching the FX-Experts since November and they have yet to have a negative month -- negative weeks yes -- but not a negative month... at least not yet."

Now, does the sky seem like it is falling anymore?

Remember that the internet and it's forums are a den of Chinese whispers, and one barely negilible piece of 'information' can be blown well out of proportion.

I decided to repost Rabbit's info there as it was well written, concise and informative.

So is the sky falling down? No. In fact, according to Rabbit's post, it's higher than ever. (Okay, that was just an excuse for a bad irrelevant bit of word play.)

FX-Experts - check it out, yo!

This information and the fallout only strengthens my faith in the program.

Compact Surfing

Well good old Compact wanted to get a word in as well:

"Dear Compactsurfing members,

About two hours ago, Support Staff Member Nvus informed me that he was unable to post a reply to a memberâ?Ts inquiry at the Compactforum.com due to an error message. I immediately reported the matter to the Compact Network techs and at first it seemed to be a MYSQL issue. However, we realized that the problem was actually an HTTP attack that flooded the MYSQL and created false loads of the site. The issue has since been resolved and all Compact Network sites are loadable.

We would like to thank you for your patience through this brief interruption; it seems as if our siteâ?Ts growth and reputation worries individuals who do not wish for us to succeed. However, despite the obstacles presented to us by scammers and competitors, the Compact Network will proceed in its development. Compactsurfing now has 10,682 members, and all cashout requests have been processed as usual within 48 hours. Compactpay will be launched in a few weeks, and Compactlottery will be opened soon.

On behalf of Olivia, Nicholas, and the rest of our team, I want you all to know that just as our trusted members love us and the hard work we put in seven days a week, we too thank you for your support and want you to know that we appreciate it.

Regards,

Luuk
Altus Financial Services Inc."

Guys, if you must stick with autosurfs instead of going for something 'real' like FX-Experts (well as far as we have so far verified) I would put Phoenix at the bottom of that list and start weaning yourselves off it.

Compact however continues to stand strong with no yellow/red flags yet.

Updates - 27th April 2006

WiredSurf

Well WiredSurf seems to putting itself back on it's feet but it's hard to tell as of yet. I still have a pending cashout from the backlog, before the era of instapay, and I think when they finish clearing them up (mine has not reached seven business days yet) and if they can prove to be on a tight payment schedule again, then this ship will be tight again.

Time will tell.

"Hello and good morning to all,

We just wanted to touch base with our members real quick, to let them know that
we have just successfully sent out our first two batches of insta-pay payouts! Members that opted to use insta-pay, and had ad packs expire the 24th or 25th of April have been processed.

The program is running great as expected, and alot of you have taken advantage of it's features. For those of you who haven't, here is a reminder run-down;

Members wishing to receive payment faster can choose to participate in our Insta-Pay program, whereby members are charged a percentage of their payout in order to receive payment within 48 hours (excluding holidays).

The fees are as follows:

$10.00 - $2000.00 - 4% of your payment total.

$2001.00 -$4000.00 - 5% of your payment total.

$4001.00 - max ($7000.00) - 6% of your payment total.

To activate Insta-Pay, simply turn it on or off from within your members center. You are able to change it as many times as you need prior to the cashout, however, once the cashout commences and your payment goes to pending, your choice is locked in for that pay period.

If you have any questions about insta-pay or any of our other recent changes, please let us know at our help desk or friendly forum.

Tonight's Letter Is The Letter 'P'

Private Investors Union just went private. However, guests can still be invited with an access code. If you wish to receive one you could always try my email... *hint hint*

Peraads goes private soon.

Phoenix Surf has issued an update about the debit card. Colour me unconvinced. At least we have 'two months' during which they'll phase out E-Gold:

"NMECard Q & A

The following are common questions that our members have been asking. We hope that the answers to these questions are enlightening as each move we make is based on many intricate variables affecting the overall business stratey of NME.

1. Is the NME debit card available for only those who are registered on nmeglobal.com?

No, anybody in any of our programs can register for the NME debit card.

2. We have heard that the debit card program is meant to phase out egold as a payment solution, is this true?

Yes, we would like to have egold phased out within 2 months. Why? We have the ability to control and monitor the funds within our debit card system. This clairvoyance will enable us to handle any account issues that our members have more efficiently than we can with egold. Also, our debit card system is secure. We are aware that some of our members have had their egold accounts hacked. The added security features of our debit card are just part of the reason we will be following this course of action. The security of our member's money/funds is our priority.
3. Will the debit cards be available to international members?

Yes! The debit cards are available in over 200 countries!

4. Will we be able to use these cards at stores, ATMs, etc?

Yes, yes and yes!

5. Why are their different rates for international card holders?

The differing rates between US Residents and international residents are set by the debit card company itself, not NME. As volume in countries outside the US increases, we will negotiate to have these fees lowered. Regardless, all members are charged the same flat fee (3.00) to withdraw money to their back account (via direct deposit).

6. Is the move to the debit card program a move to simply maximize profits for NME?

No. As explained above, we are implementing this program to increase the security of our members' accounts, gain grater control of our payment/support feature, and allow us to incorporate an incredible referral compensation plan for NMEPay.

7. Will we be provided with a training manual or other instructional tools for the cars?

Of course! The leaders of our debit card program have been working diligently to compile instructions to help our members develop expertise with the new cards.

7. When can we register for our NME debit card?

We have been finalizing our agreement with the card embossing company in regards to the international mailing rates. These agreements should be finalized by the close of April 25th. Upon the completion of these agreements, we will allow all of our members to register. We did not want to launch our debit card program until our members had equal opportunity to register.
Together in Success,

NME"

Ciao y'all.

PR from PS

"Dear Phoenix members,

Things are great here at Phoenixsurf.com! We have noticed certain things and would like to make one great addition to our forums in particular:

The Phoenixsurf forum is one of the most active and well-monitored forums in the industry. Someone looking at our forum for the first time would see a place full of information, questions, and yes, occasionally negativity and doubt. We respect the opinions all of our members; however, at this point it should be common knowledge that PS will always work to fix any problem that may occur; whether they be account activation issues, cash balance discrepancies, or erroneous payments.

Now, we are extremely interested to hear about the success stories of our members. Because of this, we have established a section in our forum titled "Success Stories". Please take the time to tell us how PS and NME have helped change your life for the better. We will be selecting the stories that touch us the most and, with the permission of the owners, showcasing these stories at our conference in May. Often we can get so bogged down in the everyday operation of the site, or worry about this cash out or that fast track, we can lose sight of the reason why NME exists in the first place. We are here to change lives and we want to hear your stories, all of them.

In closing, let us take the time to maintain our focus on what is truly important. Many people have been helped and there are many more out there that need the assistance that NME and our membership base will be able to provide.

Together in Success,

NME"

Well, there's a positive bit of member hunting there from Phoenix Surf.

What I would much prefer to hear is "...oh, you know all that debit card stuff? Never fear lads and ladettes, it was somewhat a bad dream and straight up pure ye olde E-Gold will still be an option, but you can get the debit card if you want."

Don't see it happening though.

Wired Surf Insta Pay

Very simple post, but here's the new percentages for Wired Surf's Insta Pay (very similar to Phoenix's Fast Track.)

$10.00 - $2000.00 - 4% of your payment total.

$2001.00 -$4000.00 - 5% of your payment total.

$4001.00 - max ($7000.00) - 6% of your payment total.

In these very early stages it looks like the implementation of Wired's new stuff is going well. Positive buzz, a surge in members.

Updates - 25th April 2006

PixMeUp

Yes, PixMeUp are still sending out updates. Rinse and repeat my rant from last time if you want to know what I think of them (there's some minor pros in amongst my rant about their bait and switching however - but mostly it's just bagging them out for the aforementioned baiting and switching and lying to their customers.)

"Ok, it is time.time to get Pixmeup really rolling. What does that mean to you? Finally, a business that puts you in the driver's seat of opportunity. When you are out there sharing opportunities you want to be a "first mover". You want to be the person sharing an idea that is ground breaking. Internet advertising is a ground breaking industry. It is virtually untapped. Businesses all over the world are looking for more effective ways to reach a defined audience.

What you do with the opportunity is the key. If you are just talking to people about a business where you simply have to get in early you are missing the boat. Get in and stay in should be your message. For those of you who do.5 years from now you will all be laughing all the way to the bank. For those of you who don't.well.how many deals have you tried and will you still be trying 5 years from now? Draw a line in the sand, make a commitment to success and then dig in and succeed.

Get your local phone book out and look up "advertising agencies". The owners of these agencies probably make as much money as anyone in town. The reason is simple.we are an economy driven by the ability to find creative ways to reach a potential customer. That is what advertising is all about. The Internet has created an entirely new way for us to be creative and help other businesses find customers. It is a phoemonimal business to be in.

The comp plan we created is designed to maximize your ability to make money in the space by enabling you to build a GLOBAL ADVERTISING BUSINESS. We already have people with downlines that reach across multiple continents. They are making money every day.

Don't wait any longer.NOW is the time to get started and be a FIRST MOVER. Become an Internet advertising specialist. You don't have to sit on the sidelines and read news clippings of those who are making a great deal of money from the Internet. It should be you they are reading about.

As you go out to your network ask them one simple question, "would you like to own your own Internet advertising agency where you are making money every day from advertising sold all over the world?" There has never been an easier way to make money than Internet advertising.

Study the website, use the tools, read the articles and get Mr.Pixter working for you."

Guys, I just want some spillover in my gold matrix, like early adopters were promised. Let me guess - that ain't happening right?

WiredSurf

Well, the new system was implemented exactly on time but it should be good to go now (about 24 hours after promised so not too bad.

"Our new system will be activated very shortly, and when it is, we will email the entire community with the updates. At that time you will also see the option to activate Insta-Pay if you have an active upgrade. More information will be available once the system has gone live, which according to our programming team, will be very soon."

"Our new system featuring 15% per day for 9 days is finally active!

For a complete breakdown, please read this thread available at our forum (you may have to register a forum account before viewing).

http://www.surfingwire.com/forum/showthread.php?p=12005#post12005

If you have any questions relating to our new system, we have a thread set up for you to be able to post your comments or concerns.

We are really excited about our new system and we have already seen a surge in member activity, which is encouraging to us all. We have many other plans and upcoming features in store, and will take all suggestions contained within our forum suggestion box very seriously, so let us know what you would like us to add next!

We also have some great contests in store for our entire forum community, so if you haven't been active on our community board, now is certainly the time to spend a few minutes each day reading our topics. We will soon launch an exclusive Scratch and Win card system where you will have a chance to win cash and prizes.

Here's a quick glimpse into our new future:

1) Cash & Prizes awarded through a variety of fun and profitable contests.

2) Network site, Wired Promotion will be revamped and relaunched featuring Wired Surf merchandise and more!

3) Network site, Auto Surf Bootcamp will present a free e-book to upgraded Wired Surf members only. This e-book will teach you everything you need to know about the entire industry and will help you triple your existing income easily.

4) Scratch & Win card system, unique to Wired Surf, will become available early next month and will not cost you anything to play!

5) When our debit card program launches, we will offer THE most affordable cards in the industry AND will work with all our members to ensure that everyone can take advantage of its features and simplistic interface.

6) While our Pixel site hasn't been as successful as we had hoped, it was only a small part of a much bigger idea. Watch out for exciting promotional offers that will become available to our community as our partner site, Wired Inbox launches next month.

7) If you are active in multiple auto surfs (and you should be), you will find our upcoming -Managed Surfing- website remarkably useful, and best of all, if you are an active Wired Surf member, these services will be absolutely free! Look out for the launch of this website in early June.

8) Our Insta-Pay feature is similar to a competing website, but our fees are as low as we could go, to enable all of our members to be able to receive their payments faster! Enable the new Insta-Pay feature from within your members center (Click on MY ACCOUNT to view this new feature), and you will receive your payment within 48 hours! Fees can be found in the TOS.

9) We don't believe auto surf programs should venture into their own payment processors, especially with so many failed attempts in the past. However, that doesn't mean our payment options won't improve! We are constantly looking for new but stable methods in which to send and receive payments, and Wired Surf is currently investigating two new options. Details will be posted in our forum as soon as our team has finalized the details.

10) We want to create a fun an interactive community and rather just have you log in, surf and log out, we want to keep you awhile ;) Wired Surf will be working on developing a new area that will feature e-gold games and other fun options where you can win cash and prizes! We hope to have this launched in early June.

With all of these upcoming features and activities, we are focused on putting the fun back into your auto-surfing. And with a solid business plan in place, we are working hard to continue bringing you one of the most professional auto surf programs available online.

It only gets better from here!"

Lots of fun and interesting stuff on the way and if they reorganize payments and get them back on track, WiredSurf could see explosive growth for a while yet and have a fair bit of life left in her - as long as it's pulled off right.

Key features -

We don't believe auto surf programs should venture into their own payment processors, especially with so many failed attempts in the past.

Can you say, yes please!

While our Pixel site hasn't been as successful as we had hoped, it was only a small part of a much bigger idea.

Honesty, not some BS hype. Good to see!

Actually, I'm pretty jazzed if they pull this off at the moment, we're gonna see more earnings more quickly, sped up payments, and an effective administration (hopefully) which could see a few ripe months here yet - but that is only a possibility at the moment, it is still to be seen whether it will pan out that way.

Anyway, ciao y'all.

Totally Total Rune

Well, I always like to take a punt on autosurfs with some side money, and two of the new big guns - WiredSurf and PhoenixSurf are in various transitional states which may or may not pan out at the moment (personally I think Wired has a bigger chance of hitting the ground running with their new terms, rather than Phoenix’s debit cards and ditching of E-Gold.)

So I was thinking, time to exit those somewhat and dip my toes into another fairly newish autosurf when I realized I’d never paid any attention to Total Rune.

It hasn’t been mentioned here before that I am aware of either, surprisingly.

It’s an autosurfer with a trusted admin (you know how much - *cough* little *cough* - weight that carries in the autosurf industry - if you want something real, try FX-Experts.)

He runs a few other autosurfers and operates with decorum.

I’d heard the buzz about these guys for a long time and I originally thought they were some sort of online RPG or something (c’mon, Total RUNE?)

They started December of 2005, and I know that’s pushing it for an autosurf. But I was still hearing good buzz…

So a few days I did some reading and took the plunge. Why? Because pretty much everyone is dancing around in forums posting about how these guys are paying them within hours. Still - even though they opened in December.

So here I see the opportunity for a solid little surf, with a responsive and so-far-honourable and capable admin that is still chugging along just fine.

Not much more to say really. It’s an autosurf, it’s paying on time. It’s an educated risk.

Basically, if you dig autosurfs and riskier ventures and see the red flags popping up from some of the other big guns, this one has carved out a well respected niche but doesn’t seem to have exploded yet.

It’s 7% for 21 days, so you get 147% off an ad pack buy. Not too shabby at all, it may not be a wham-bam-thank you ma’am variety of autosurf, but so far it’s a solid one.

There’s a 24 hour window to cash out on Sundays and so far it’s been working like a charm. (Yes, payments were made promptly for yesterday’s cashouts already according to all the ‘paid’s!’ I’ve read everywhere :) )

Check it out if it’s your kinda bag…

I was surprised to see it still going so strong and not drawing massive dollops of attention to itself, so that’s what ‘inspired’ me to make it my next autosurf.

Total Rune.

Global Mutual Update

Gordon, the big G of Global Mutual himself, has just acquired two new servers so we should see all sites back online and working any day (yes including venerable old NES - hopefully we should all be able to log back in to!)

Withdrawals have also started to be processed, and as I believe I previously have mentioned, it has been stated that once GM withdrawals have been done, GMIVCShares dividends will be issued.

It's been a long wait (as it always is) but hopefully the light is at the end of the tunnel once again.

New Fun Thing!

A fun thing that earns you money, therefore the best type of fun thing.

It’s EGoldRevolution.

This has been around for nearly TWO AND A HALF YEARS. And that’s not a fake (not so) Solid Investment style claim either.

It’s fairly unique, and apparently you can only withdraw a maximum of $20 a day, and it only costs a minimum of $9 to get in. I think of it more as a bit of a fun, a $9 gamble than anything else.

It’s a HYIP and a MLM combined, and you have to pay a little monthly subscription payment. The program automatically assigns you referrals however and everyone I’ve spoken to has found that, without any promotion, the program has provided (unlike pretty much every other MLM out there.)

Anyway, it’s been around for two and a half years and it cost me nine bucks. It’s a HYIP and it’s a bit of fun so I thought “why the hell didn’t I jump in this earlier?”

Here’s a copy and paste from their site to explain the rules in more detail as I don’t have much more to say (unique HYIP, costs nine bucks, been around for a long time, never draws much attention to itself… uh, it’s cool? It’s a bit of fun, a bit of a laugh? You won’t get rich off it but it might make you a nice tidy little side return? That’s about it really.)

EGOLDREVOLUTION is a HYIP and MLM program where you can earn up to 1,000 % of your investments within 500 days. We are a group of experienced investors in various funds and activities, which guarantees the best returns to our members, LIFELONG.
STEP 1.

Register as a FREE member and activate the link sent to your mailbox. Then, you get your own Egoldrevolution page and your referral link associated to your page.
If you don’t wish to become immediately an INVESTOR PRO member, you can use only our MLM program as a FREE member.
In this case, you MUST promote your EGOLDREVOLUTION page in order to make new affiliates and to receive bonuses in your account. Once you have a net amount of $ 9.00 in your account, you will become automatically a PRO Member and these $ 9 will be considered as your first investment. (Then see the STEP 2)

There is no other goal to be a FREE member than to promote your Egoldrevolution page, in order to become a PRO member with your first profits coming from your own affiliates.
You will discover in the step 2 which are the exceptional and huge advantages to become a PRO member as soon as possible.
STEP 2.

After you registered as a FREE member, you can upgrade IMMEDIATELY to PRO member.
Click on INVEST and pay a minimum amount of $ 9.00 . There is a monthly limit of $ 250, to avoid that most of the distributed profits would privilege a few rich members. You can invest again at any time.

Each time you pay, you receive POINTS in your “Virtual capital”. Example : if you pay $ 20.00 you receive 2,000 points (one point costs one cent)

As soon as you make the first payment, you become automatically a PRO member.
Then, your page enters in our rotation default page shown in all the tools that we use to promote the site.
To increase your profits, do promote your page as well, with our free tools or any other that you used successfully in the past.

We share all the profits made by our company in various funds and activities, with all our PRO active members. Our internal plan to distribute this profit is the secret of our exclusive new system, but the result is that you can expect receiving up to 1,000 % of your investments within 500 days, and even more if you promote your Egoldrevolution personal page.

MONTHLY PAYMENTS

Each time you make a payment, you are considered as a PRO ACTIVE MEMBER for a period of 30 days and you receive referral bonuses from your affiliates and from the daily profits distribution (except on Sunday)

To remain an active pro member, make a new payment minimum each 30 days (minimum $ 5 and maximum $ 250 per 30 days period - and more points will be added each time in your virtual capital) You will receive an email 8 days before the end of each 30 days period, to remember you this rule.

In case you forget to make a new payment after 30 days and to increase your virtual capital, you become a NON ACTIVE PRO member. Then it means that your account will be in standby until you make a new payment to increase your points and to restart for a period of 30 days. During the standby period, you don’t receive the daily distribution but you still receive your referral bonuses, so it is your interest to let your account active permanently and to increase your virtual capital each month, with a minimum of $ 5 (500 points) and a maximum of $ 250 (25,000 points) To increase your virtual capital each month, you can pay by the payment systems accepted on our site. But if you have enough money in your cash account, you can reinvest directly from this account. If you have enough money in your reserve account($5 + $1 FEE ), you will be automatically updated, then you have nothing to do.

The fact to make a new invesment each month or to reinvest a part of your cash will permanently increase the expected profits.

This is the main goal of our system.

When you login in your account, you will find your “Cash account” and your “Reserve account” increasing day by day, 6 days a week - on Sunday we don’t distribute profits, our office are closed.

The daily profits are distributed as follows :
- 50% in your cash account
- 50% in your reserve account
Your referral bonuses are paid to your reserve account in order to reinvest.

You can withdraw daily, only from your cash account, with a minimum of $ 5.00 and with a $ 1.00 fee each time you withdraw to your e-gold account.

PAY ATTENTION : Most of HYIP programs work on a short time schedule.
OUR EXCLUSIVE NEW CONCEPT and our 10 levels referral commissions plan guarantees a LIFELONG High Yield Investment program on which you can concentrate all your attention.

Each investment made by a member is available for 500 days. In order to avoid the inflation effect typical to the pyramidal systems and most of the HYIPs, we decrease the value of each investment with 1/500th each day. Example : if you invest $ 5.00, you receive 500 points and each day we cancel 1 point. After 30 days, your virtual capital will be 470 points, and so on. Important : the payments are not refundable : each payment is made only to buy points.

This rule is available for each new payment. The new countdown of 500 days restarts at each payment, separately.

Thanks to our EXCLUSIVE system and to the monthly payments of our PRO ACTIVE Members, each member is pushed to reinvest permanently a part of his profits and this has the effect to increase the profits of ALL the active members.
This is a revealed secret of our unique new concept and that’s why our EXCLUSIVE system guarantees EXCEPTIONAL profits during YEARS !

Our Affiliate program:
LEVEL 3 affiliates 3 % commission ($)
1 3 4.5
2 9 13.5
3 27 40.5
4 81 121.5
5 243 364.5
6 729 1093.5
7 2187 3280.5
8 6561 9841.5
9 19683 29524.5
10 59049 88573.5
monthly total $132858

We offer an exceptional 10 levels commissions plan. Each time you make a new affiliate (with our rotating default page or with your own promotion) we pay 30% of the invested amount ( 3% on each of the 10 levels).

Example: if each member makes only 3 affiliates who invest $ 50.00, each month, here are the theoretical results (see the table).

That’s why, when we say that you can earn up to 1,000 % of your investments, and even more, it will be the reality if you become a PRO ACTIVE Member.

EGOLDREVOLUTION is an EXCEPTIONAL program. You will enjoy the results as soon as you will become a PRO Member!”

EGoldRevolution.

Updates - 23rd April 2006

A few juicy little tidbits here today.

Down To Business

Starting with some positive stuff here's some word on Down To Business.

Hey guys I had another payout from D2B in my E-Gold this morning! She keeps rolling along.

Here's some more tidbits from TJ:

"Hi TJ,
I have been following d2b for sometimes, and I have a few questions to be cleared about. What is the maximum amount to invest, and also what was the largest investment amount made? Have you ever missed, well not missed.. delayed any payments?

---------------

Maximum amount to invest is any amount you can afford to lose. I know this is bad business practice for me to be always saying it, but i've explained so many times throughout the thread the reason why I say it.

If you made a big deposit and suddenly i reach my 25 K ceiling, the surplus would be immediately refunded.

"Afford to lose" is different from "amount you dont want to lose" since no one here wants to lose money. I'm saying, "dont invest your retirement money, grocery money, child tuition money, etc."

So far, d2b has not missed the targeted 40% Profit.

Payments has been delayed for as much as 4 days I think, but only once. Then i think there was a time i was delayed for a couple of days.

Payments however, has been paid EARLY multiple times, as much as 4 days before deadline."

Remember to put 00 in the memo of your spend, as well as your own email address.

UdachuInvest

UdachuInvest is back up (a little slow sometimes but they're getting there.) You also need an invite code now, so if you're interested and need one, you could always try emailing me. My email address is in the side bar. *hint hint*

FX-Experts

Marcos has got good old FX-E back up now too, however you may have to use https:// in front of the site for now.

However as of now the site is in a 'read only' mode so you can't make changes to your profile - and any deposits will not show up as pending or be added to your account - don't worry, Marcos is aware of this and is manually fixing the problem.

PhoenixSurf

Well earlier they disabled upgrades.

Then they reupgraded them.

Then they sent out an email to remind members that the 22nd is not a surfing holiday so remember to surf.

Then there's this:

"Dear Members,

We have a very special announcement! Our founder/CEO Jonathan Mikula will be speaking on Sunday night's conference call. Mr. Mikula will be discussing some incredible additions to the NME business plan as well as making the general announcement of the NME Convention in July.

This convention will be an industry first and we encourage all of our members to listen to Mr. Mikula describe the features and events our members can look forward to. Please be sure that you and your team make it on this call! Also, please dial in at least 5 minutes early as calls with Mr. Mikula are always full and we only have 500 lines available! This is the one call you do not want to miss!

Call in #: (641) 297 8000- pin number 195497#

See you on the call,

NME"

But most importantly is the forthcoming debit card. Here is the info on it:

"NMEDebit Card fees:

22.95 – One time charge to purchase NMEDebit Card
4.95 – Card loading fee
1.50 – ATM withdrawal fee
4.50 – ATM International withdrawal fee
.50 – ATM balance check
3.00 – Transfer from card to card
4.95 – Transfer from card to check
5.00 – If you would like a Monthly Statement
9.95 – If you would like Monthly help/support
15.00 – Lost/Stolen card
0.00 From Card to Phoenixsurf
3.5% From Phoenixsurf to Card

The NMEDebit Card will have the following incredible features:

* 100% approval!
* Can be used on over 210 countries and territories and growing!
* Safer than cash!
* Funds conversion to local currencies at local ATMs
* Better currency conversion rates!
* Instantly send money worldwide to family and friends using the card to card transfer function!
* Immediate use of funds!
* Check your account balance online or at an ATM!
* Move money just by making a phone call!
* FDIC insured up to $100,000!
* 100% direct deposit for the workplace!
* Transfer money from your debit card to your bank account!
* Card to check transfer: write checks from your card for billpay!
* Download real time account statements!
* Ability to search transactions and track usage!

Other notes about the card:

-You do not have to be a member of NMEGlobal to receive this debit card.
-You load the card by either ACH or by Bank Wire (bank wire fees may occur)
-No charge to use your card in stores for purchases.
-There is no charge to view your balance online....only at an ATM
-To card from bank (24-48 hrs) for deposit to post to debit card
-Card to PS (instant) purchase PS to Card (Instant) cashout (When your ad package expires either for FT or 7 Business days)
-You do not have to have the card in hand to use your card online. (24-48 hour wait after registration and it’s ready to go)
-Card will take probably 6 weeks to physically receive in mail.
-NMEDebit Card will not be interchangeable with any other VM or debit cards.
-You are not able to get the debit card right now. We will let everyone know when you are able to do this. It will be posted in the forum, as well as accessible from the homepage of NME and Phoenixsurf.
-You will have to have two different cards for two different people; two different accounts with PS
-This is not a payment processor, but a Debit Card.
-When NMEPay comes out, we are keeping the VM card.
-Card is purchased through Paypal. One time fee!
The debit card serves as a bank account, it has a routing number and an account number. It is in a real bank!
-You have a secret number that is 6 digits long that you will choose for online processing, and a four digit pin number for offline purchases.... The VM card will have the NME Logo on it and an account number that will be registered with NMEGlobal, so there will be no mix-ups.
-There is like a 4.95 monthly maintenance fee on the card. This is the only reoccurring charge. I do know that all fees are basically the same for all countries except for the ATM fee; we don't have any decisions over these fee's. They are VM fees and not PS fees.
-The Debit card is replacing Egold, so everyone will have to purchase the card if they are to continue to buy advertising purchases
-Pheonix/NME do not own or operate VM.
-Virtual Money is backed by the Southwest Bank of Forth Worth, TX.

Levels for verification process!

0-2500.00 (only information required is registration information)

2. 2500.00 - 10,000.00 (2 sources of ID and a photo ID)

3. 10,000.00 And Higher (Bank Verification, Utility Bill, Telephone Bill, Photo ID) All with name and address of the card holder! (phone bill must show your phone number)

* These amounts are an average monthly balance (The average monthly balance for a bank account, for example, is the sum of ending daily balances divided by the number of days.)
* You will be able to submit your information either by fax to Virtual Money or by an email to them by uploading your scanned documents. Any format with .jpg, gif, bmp are acceptable!

Please keep in mind that you should get this information ready and available for when the card is ready for registration. Some of you may not have the ability to fax or scan, so take them to a copier place and have them scan them for you. This way you can have this information when the time comes.

Your Virtual Money Back Office:

In your back office, this is what you will see:

balance.....history.....transfer.....profile.....f ees.....statement....support....faq.....news.....

You will also be able to do these things.....

1. See your current and available balance....
2. See your monthly statement for your Card
3. See your recent card history and search through previous transactions
4. Transfer funds to another VM card, to a bank, or to write a check
5. To see the usage fees for your card.

Funding Your Card:

1. Card to Card
2. Direct Deposit
3. ACH to Card
4. Loading Terminals (Your card can be loaded directly through any Wachovia or Wells Fargo Banks. Visit a local branch; provide your card, Identification and Virtual Money’s Routing Code)
5. Bank Wire

A mass email will be sent out to all Phoenixsurf members when it is time for you to order the cards. Again, once you fill in your registration, you will wait 48 hours before you can activate your account. Once your account is activated, you can start funding that card immediately. The mass email will explain more.

Well... it has come to my attention that the debit cards will be replacing E-Gold completely within Phoenix Surf.

Count me out. I'll probably continue to make small upgrades but even if they pull the debit card off, they're payment processor is coming as well and moving everything 'in house' which is NOT a good thing. Too much verification, too much mucking around, etc. just to be paid out... And we all know how situations like this have panned out in the past.

I'm gonna keep small spends in and see how it goes and if it is pulled off without a hitch and is still here in a few months... then I might reconsider. Maybe!

WiredSurf

In preparation for their switch to the new terms of their program it seems that many people's payments are quite late, quite a few past the 7 business day threshold.

I wouldn't reinvest (anything worthwhile) here at the moment, but give them a little time to implement their new stuff and see how it pans out - the payments could have just slowed because of all the new implementations.

So it looks like CompactSurfing is definitely the best surf at the moment... I'm definitely issuing yellow flags for the other two.

HOWEVER - everyone's such big fans of surfs? Why? You have to remember that they are basically prolonged ponzis in general, perhaps prolonged partial ponzis.

Maybe one day the holy grail of autosurfs will pop up, but in the meantime they are games, educated guesses (so a better punt than a "200% in one day HYIP" punt.)

What I don't get is why people aren't checking out stuff like FX-Experts more. Bear that in mind. :)

Ciao.

FX-Experts Back Up

Well it appears FX-Experts is back in action for real this time.

Hopefully the steps Marcos has taken towards anti-DDOS and the like (to keep the terminology simple) will stem another such occurrence of downtime for a while. But, these attacks can be massive and very insidious...

Anyway, I celebrated with another deposit! Hey, I waited all week to put some more money into FX-E, hopefully I'm not too late for this week's cut-off.

FX-Experts Was Back Up For A Minute

Well, FX-Experts was back up for a minute there, but is now back down for me with people facing similar problems.

But they're getting there - Marcos assures us it won't be long now.

In the meantime, for those who missed the percentages for the week due to the DDOS attacks performed on the site, here they are:

Monday: .5
Tuesday: .7
Wednesday: .5
Thursday: .5

Apparently it was 3% for the week so that makes Friday .8%.

Not too shabby! Remember that the daily totals are in fact random (well, kinda random) numbers based on last month's trading. The totals are generated by Marcos based on a number of factors.

Wired Surf's New System Is Near

Wired Surf Positive Public Announcement #1297.

"Wired Surf has been so occupied with our upcoming debit card program (and it's going to be GREAT =), that we haven't had much time for fun events and contests, so just to let you all know, we will be making the entire month of May, a month filled with contests, cash prizes and special events.

It's time to make the surf industry enjoyable and exciting again!

And speaking of exciting, we can not wait for the launch of our new system on Monday, April 24th. With 15% per day, lasting for 9 full days, Wired Surf will boost activity which will open new doors for upcoming programs and associated ventures, it's really going to be one heck of a summer!

For those who haven't yet upgraded and experienced our prompt service or friendly community, now is the time to get started. You will be able to earn through 2 cycles per month through our regular five business day pay period or boost it up to THREE cycles if you choose to participate in our Insta-Pay 48 hour (or less) payment program.

We can't wait to show you how our newly organized team, and improved program will give you a reason to enjoy surfing each day as part of a company and community that will outlive ANY other surf program (yes, including the grandfather).

Why are we so confident in our business model?

Just wait and see! We have so much in store that you will never again wonder just how we will continue to keep our primary surf program up and running. You will finally experience real confidence in an auto surf, and stop worrying that each pay cycle will be the last. Wired Surf was eager to change your way of thinking, and we are finally able to show you how we plan to do that.

Stay tuned, it will be one heck of a ride! :)

Sincerely,

Cameron, Jane, Richard & David (and the rest of our crew)
Wired Surf"

"Chancer Gets Annoyed"

Okay guys, today is "annoying Chancer" day as pretty much every site is facing (legitimate in these cases) site issues.

We've got FX-Experts down, still, but should be back up soon (who knows, even by the time you're reading this - that's why you should go sign up for my rss feeds... *shameless plug*) Marcos is working towards the problem, as well as future proofing against it.

Feederfund's site is down (though if you are a member of this now private club you will have checked out the latest goss or received an email about it.)

FXIG's site is apparently down still. (Very valid reasons given once again.)

I can't get into UdachuInvest and the NeverendingStori site is still down (hopefully when it finally comes back the SQL errors will cease and we'll all be able to log back in!)

Speaking of NES and Global Mutual (whose site seems to pretty functional and operational again at the moment) here's the latest word from Gordon!

See, I told y'all I'd suss it out.

Gordon is starting to pay out pending GM withdrawals. He couldn't pay them out whilst the servers were down.

GMI site seems fine now.

When GM payments are finished being paid out, dividends should be issued for GMVCShares (finally!)

His IT guy is working on NeverendingStori's problems bit by bit everyday but he is 'sporadic' in the way he can work (unfortunately for us and GM.) The downside of operating on a shoe string I suppose.

So that's it basically, the meat of it.

PixMeUp sent out another email about what it is to lead and teach. See my previous rants on PMU to see what is wrong with that in so many ways (considering it was originally marketed as a passive program.)

PhoenixSurf also issued two updates today.

Why surfing has been slow and what they're doing about it:

"Dear PS Members,

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by our server. The high amounts of traffic due to our incredible growth are causing significant slowness during certain times of the day. As mentioned earlier, we are moving to a new server solution. We are trying to make this a seamless move; however, we have recently expanded the specifications for our new servers. We are having these servers built form the ground up to our exact specifications.

However, the periodic slowness of the site is causing some of our members to have serious trouble with viewing their 15 ads. We understand this so to accommodate all of our members, we will be having a "surfing holiday".

What does a surfing holiday mean?
Basically, all upgraded members will be paid their 15% per day sometime after midnight. This surfing holiday will be in effect starting today and running through Friday April 21. We will also make more announcements throughout the day.

Thank you for your continued support. Phoenixsurf.com is doing better than ever. If you are going to have a problem, having too much traffic to your site is a good problem to have. :)"

And a call to arms about their conference (wouldn't it be awesome to see one of these actually happen?)

"While you are relaxing during your surf holiday, please take time to spend with friends and family. As well, please take the time to go to our forum (www.phoenixsurf.com/forums) and vote on our convention.

As many of you know, NME will be celebrating its one-year anniversary on July 15, 2006. We would like to celebrate this event by holding an NME convention where all members of NMEGlobal.com, Phoenixsurf.com, nmeauctions.com, jointhemillion.com, and many more NME programs will be able to attend. The upper management and program admins will be in attendance as well.

Like our last convention, members would be educated on everything NME has to offer. In addition, we would answer common FAQs, tell the story of NME, and instruct our members step by step to achieve the incredible financial results experienced by many NME members. We are planning on holding this even on July 14-15 (Friday and Saturday).

Please go to the Phoenixsurf.com forum and tell us if you would like to attend this event. Ticket prices will be extremely cheap and we will have to close the door to registration after approximately 2000 registrants.

A word from our Founder/CEO Jonathan Mikula:
"I look forward to meeting our members in July! My position with the company requires me to do most of my work behind the scenes. My assistants periodically update me on the success of our members and I am always excited when one of our large national events is approaching. At the conference, I will tell our members where NME came from, our results thus far, and a vision of where NME is going in the near future. We have achieved incredible things as a company and our success is due in large part to our outstanding membership base. Again, I am sincerely looking forward to meeting each and every one of you at our convention in July. There you will truly see that NME is not in the business of making money; rather, we are in the business of changing lives.

Do not forget to give us feedback on our forum!"

I finally got paid by WiredSurf after a second support ticket! Let's see how it goes now, with the new rules, changes and implementations.

Can't we all just have good times? Why DDOS the good sites! Angry, jealous admins of scam programs?

Ciao,
Chancer.

Autosurf Updates - 19th April 2006

Yep, more news from the Autosurf stables today.

I'll start off with a "PAID!" post.

PhoenixSurf paid me for a fast tracked payout, in about 24 hours from expiry. Very cool.

WiredSurf however are still yet to pay me for an 8th April Expiry. If you count Easter and give them some good will, the seventh business day is VERY close to being been and gone. I expect it in the next few hours, and I think these guys have got the potential to go for many months yet, let's see how the latest round of changes go and see if they can get payouts back on track at this early stage.

Fair enough. If they get the payouts back on track with the new changes, the not-so-old girl should have a lot of life left in her yet!

CompactSurfing

Compact are back up completely, as has been stated, and here is basically the official announcment regarding that:

"Dear Compactsurfing Members,

We're back! After facing nearly 48 hours of a targeted DDOS attack against our Network sites, our technicians have finally alleviated the problem and for most of you the Compactsurfing site and other sites in our Network are accessible now. For those of you that cannot load the Compactsurfing site yet, please allow 12 more hours or so for the DNS to propagate in your location.

The administration team spent hours dedicating themselves to resolving the difficulties we have faced in the past few days, and we would like to thank you for showing your patience and support during our efforts. As we have stated from the beginning, we are here to stay and with your help we hope that our popularity grows in the online community, considering the obstacles we have faced and our overcoming them with your backing and trust. Payments will resume tomorrow and will be processed within the 48 hour usual time frame after request of cashout. All members were credited for the 17th and 18th of April as surf holidays; you can check to make sure that the nine sites for those dates are shown in your â?oHits Statsâ? page within your member account, under â?oHits Earned.â?

We now have more resistant DDOS protection for our sites and we will continue to proceed in the enhancement of current sites in the Network and development of future ones. Again, thank you to all who remained calm and supportive during these past few days, our staff worked very hard to serve you and answer member inquiries on public forums such as TG and MMG where we can be found in the event that our site experiences technical difficulties. We are here 7 days a week for all of you, and this will not change. Take care and expect further announcements in the near future,

Regards,
Luuk, Olivia, Nicholas, and Staff
Altus Financial Services Inc.

You are receiving this email from Altus Financial Services Inc. because you are a member of our website compactsurfing. To no longer receive our emails, please suspend your compactsurfing membership."

PhoenixSurf

A very quick, self-explanatory note from PS:

"Dear NME/PS Members,

Just a quick announcement. We will be launching our debit card program very shortly. There are no referral commission for the cards at this time so there will be no pre-launch for NME members only. Please stay close to your email for the announcement!

Regards,

NME"

Udachu Invest Referral Code

You now need to a referral code to get into Udachu Invest as well.

My email address is over in the sidebar if you are serious and wish to enquire!

Updates - 19th April 2006

Wired Surf

First up, two Wired Surf updates.

"Due to errors and problems with our surf bar, today, April 18th will be a free surf day meaning that you are not required to surf in order to receive your daily earnings. In fact, we ask that you refrain from surfing so that our programmers can work on determining what the problem is.

Our server is an extremely powerful one and so upgrading it isn't going to help us as it is one of the best that RackSpace offers.

We will determine the problem and fix it, however to avoid frustration and activity within the surf bar, today is a free surf day.

Thanks!"

And now some good PR and suggestion from the campaign-managers at Wired Surf Advertising HQ:

"Wondering what we have in store for you as a member of Wired Surf?

Here are a couple of hints:

- Scratch and (possibly) win, even as much as $8,000.00!

- Earn more money in less time AND surf even less daily!

- Pending payment? Not anymore! Is 48 hours too long to wait?

- Refer & Earn, psst, you will receive a percentage of your entire downline's upgrades!

- ATM, anyone? Skip E-gold and receive your earnings instantly!

Have we caught your interest yet? Visit our forum for details on all of our upcoming events and special programs, available only to active and upgraded members."

I find it quite interesting, and like the fact they are going for a mild mystery angle. At least they have SOME nous on how to advertise stuff! Which is what surfs are meant to be all about right?

Neverending Stori
Global Mutual

Yes, these guys are still facing mega problems but Gordon did pop in eventually to give us little guys an update:

"GMI and NES are under intermittant DOS attacks.
No sooner had we moved servers, than we suffered a spammer attack and a dos at the same time.

I went online to begin making payments today and found that some software was missing off the server.

As soon as I had managed to make the first manual payment, we copped another dos.

I cant receive deposits or make payments until this thing is resolved.

Gordi"

I take it the missing software is the source of the SQL problem.

Gordon's response there was in response to questions about dividends as well, so I'll take it to mean that he is also referring to dividend payments - or at least implying that he can't apply them till everything is back up and running smoothly.

We'll see.
