Blog Of The Week Round VI

Well another day, another so called Blog Of The Week.

Today's blog of the week is quite simply "Best High Yield Investment Programs." Snappy!

Snappy name, snappy site. The site is simple, to the point and direct and also has links and info on forex trading out there for those of you who want to start splashing towards the 'legitimate' edge of the pool.

Check it out - Digiclone's Best High Yield Investment Programs.

Blog Updates

Well, some minor notes and changes to the blog.

I'm starting a minor bit of advertising now that I have some content, so you can vote for me. Go down the sidebar to find the first voting button - if you dig the blog, gimme a helping hand for a moment and vote! Thanks.

Oh and as you've noticed there's google and amazon links. If you see something you like - click click click! It all helps me out just that little bit more, which in turns spurs me on to try and provide some sort of meaningful content.

Catch y'all later.

GMI VC Shares

What's happening everybody? Another day another update and for this little piece of poorly constructed prose I'll be looking at everybody's (well, my) favourite underdog - Global Mutual.

Updates over at HYIP Investment and the like from the big man Gordon himself are stating that payment schedules will resume on January 2nd, for those who wanted to know. However, despite this statement I have still received a payment... from GMI VC (Venture Capital) Shares.

Now, GMI VC Shares was something I didn't think I'd have to worry about as I thought all the money I had put into Global Mutual was in the Extreme plan (still no word on when the interest rates will rise again but even as is it is providing a steady trickle) but for some reason when I logged onto GMI VC Shares for a lark, I had quite a substantial amount of shares... colour me impressed!

More importantly, in GMI VC Shares I had also seen a nice sizeable increase in my share prices and had received a dividend. I can't tell you all how often we got dividends because I am unaware, I will have to look into that. But I made a test withdrawal of the dividend and received in it three days... considering withdrawals aren't supposed to start until January 2nd, as stated, I was quite happy.

Now, for those who don't know, GMI VC Shares is Global Mutual International's new little private stock market. The more traditional HYIP plans will stay at Global Mutual, Neverending Stori has its own unique agenda and Global-Mutual.biz provides more blue chip, long term stable investments.

GMI VC Shares is a conversion of the old GMI plans that were a little more long term/traditional and has moved them over onto the Global Mutual.biz server.

What if no one buys my shares you may ask? Well, Gordon has stated prior that Global Mutual will buy back shares at some points, etc. and I actually am quite enamoured with the site and find it quite entertaining and hopefully the start of something big!

If you're not in, check it out at - Global Mutual Venture Capital Shares. If you're already a member of Global Mutual (if not, why not? They're getting through their rough patches nice and good) try logging in over at GMI VC Shares with your Global Mutual log in details.

And in more GMI news - Neverending Stori is still slowly ironing out the kinks. Gordon is on top of it now, and Ivan the tech is back in action. The forum Nes-Cafe is starting to see more updates too... hopefully we're starting to see its potential realized here.

If you're not in, I think I could say its worth signing up for... though I won't fully reccomend it just yet until all the final little kinks are ironed out.

Happy New Year y'all, and keep it real and good luck in the new year.

12 Daily Pro

Sorry for the lack of updates over the past two or three days dudettes, its been Christmas and everything has been sitting pretty pretty.

When it comes to 12 Daily Pro, I got another sizeable payout. These guys are still going strong and I love them to death. There's some new changes out and about -

Firstly, due to E-Gold's problems, they have extended their time to pay with E-Gold till ten business days. StormPay is still a maximum of 7, with an average payout time of 3 - 4 days. I don't see the ten days as a bad thing, as most payouts will still be made within 7, 12 Daily Pro just can't control a glitching, slow E-Gold however.

There's been some upgrades to the ticketing system, and some minor problems that have been quickly resolved.

Also, the 12 DP Days of Christmas ended. I'm interested to hear about any members who received the prizes!

More updates soon. Reccomend this blog to your friends - you know you want to! *thumbs up*

MPDW Update

Well, MPDW posted 3.05% this week. Seriously guys, if you're not in MPDW I heartily recommend you get in! They're seemingly legitimate, give good returns (12% + a month) and the fact that your unit is predicated on grams of gold gives you a little bonus investment right now with rising gold prices. (Which are expected to go upwards of $600 - $800 an ounce this year, currently sitting at about $505 very roughly and recently peaking at $530+ an ounce.)

MPDW is also considering adopting some new private credit union payment options (no, not their own payment processor like Studiopay or PicPay) and wish us all a Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too, MPDW. Keep up the good work.

Oh yeah, they are meant to be updating the site soon too. Make it a bit prettier/more professional and functional and what-not.

Udachu Deadline

Hey, if any of you have signed up for Udachu you need to be funded by 12PM EST today... otherwise your account will be deleted and you won't be able to reregister until the new year... with a new registration process.

Just a heads up for you all.

Private Opps Update

Just received a fresh-off-the-press email that, starting January 16th, 2006, Private Opps referral commissions will drop from 12% to 9%.

Just so you all know! Merry Christmas once again.

Updates - December 24th 2005

Neverending Stori

Is closed for system updates. Again. Wait and see what happens this time.

Global-Mutual

Well, all old accounts have been transferred over to GMI VC Shares. (Those accounts of the non-extreme variety that is.) It's an interesting site, but some people are decrying it as worthless. I think it will be interesting to see how it evolves as a little private stock exchange.

12 Daily Pro

Has been down for maintenance for a little while there but now it is back in black. I just received a good sizeable payment today as well, which has kept me grinning like a cheshire cat - it took them a while because of the E-Gold downtime but they are soldiering forward and everything seems to be back on track.

SkillJam

Well, SkillJam has updated their site with a whole new layout and many changed things. Lots more options to play games just for 'tokens' and not money. Go check it out if you're bored and haven't already.

Alientrust

Well these guys keep earning my kudos too, with compounding not being a bank-breaker (compounding is NOT a rapid process that could see $8 accounts escalate into $800 in a matter of days) and they now have a fully automated payout process. Here's an excerpt from the update -

"Great News Everyone - we've completed the total automation of the cashout system. It's really tight too. Here's how it works.

You may now request a cashout ANYTIME you have at least 35.00 in your account. Once you request a cashout, you won't be able to request another one until that one is processed.

We've had some issues in the past admin wise, where folks were requesting a cashout, then before we had a chance to post it as paid, they would upgrade with their earnings - this is bad, and no longer an issue :)

What happens now is that when you request a cashout, the money is debited from your account immediately, and then posted to your History as Pending. Once you've actually been paid, we'll update that Pending transaction to Processed.

Cashouts will still be pulled at the same time they are now - Fridays at noon server time, and then be paid 3- 5 days following the Friday they are pulled.

So what does that mean to you? If you request a cashout on Saturday afternoon - you're gonna be waiting a while. That cashout request will not be pulled till the following Friday, then paid in 3-5 days. So make sure you're doing your cashout requests in a timely manner to avoid any long wait times.

Remember, we won't be paying to e-gold at all - so you'll need a StormPay account to get paid. Any cashout requests made to an E-Gold account will simply be deleted and the funds returned to your account."

Ciao, y'all and Merry Christmas.

Stori Neverending

Well, got another update from "The Editor" just then via email.

The site upgrade is finished and all that, states Gordon.

Yet when I check my account it has rolled back even more...

*bangs head on desk.*

D'oh! I'll give the upgrade a day to settle in and if it hasn't by then I will try to contact "The Editor" directly once again... perhaps now it is only my account feeling the glitch. Perhaps it is all. Time will tell.

Neverending Stori Reassurance

Well, I just spoke to Gordon via MSN quickly, to ask directly about the progress on restoring the missing week of data, earnings and referrals and to give me an ETA.

His reply on the timeframe? "Almost."

So I'll keep an eye on them over the next two or three days and I'll consider this info to be reassuring.

Updates - December 22nd 2005

Well its time for another round of updates -

12 Daily Pro

These guys are quickly catching up on payments delayed because of E-Gold's downtime. There's also some new updates on their site, like bonus credits around the Christmas period. December 24th and 25th will be surfing holidays.

AlienTrust

AlienTrust is still kicking along strong. Some of the latest updates include their payouts passing the $100,000 mark, and the decision to lose E-Gold. Yes, you read that right, AlienTrust has decided to ditch E-Gold due to their somewhat dodgy service lately. AlienTrust is an offshoot of the respectable North Shore Media and the fact they have ditched the 'scam' currency E-Gold could be a good sign I suppose. It makes life harder for a few of us, but it might also increase their integrity. With Stormpay + NetIBA now offering lowered fees, Stormpay might actually become the currency of choice with quite a few people.

Neverending Stori

What'd'y'know, they came back for a day, no updates on the missing data... and now the site is still up but 'closed for system update.' Let's hope this is the one where the missing data from our past returns, because if that is the case I will begin to highly reccomend this program to people.

Udachu Fund Update

Well, I just made a big rambling post on these guys and their greatness yesterday to be faced with some major (good) upheaval and updates today.

Udachu Fund have just sent out an email of updates detailing that they plan to go 'offline' (as in more security etc.) "UdachuFund will convert to an offline investment program. All members will receive a monthly statement that will state profit, deposits, withdrawals and referral bonuses."

The monthly rate will change to 8%. A quarterly bonus will be given out where they used to pay 15% a month.. and they expect the quarterly dividend to be larger than the 15% would have been. Referral structure has changed, and all profits will be compounded automatically unless a withdraw request is made between the 5th and 10th of a month.

This makes things a little more complicated, but also shows their legitimacy I believe, to follow the rules of more traditional investment vehicle.

The time to get in would be now I believe, just in case they go private!

They are also auditing accounts at the moment, so you gotta chuck your e-gold number into your account settings, and don't forget to put your email address in the memo of any payments to Udachu!

Ciao.

FastMarket Does Something Good

What a nice headline - well, I just tried to withdraw my latest monthly compounded earnings from FastMarket just a moment ago and it withdrew and appeared in my E-Gold account instantly.

At least they're still sporadically working... If these guys aren't down for the count and make a full on come back I will be very surprised, but also happy.

Neverending Stori

The Neverending Stori website is down. The message merely reads... "software update. Please stay in touch."

I've got my fingers crossed that this means the return of their tech Ivan, which also means the return of our missing data and the recent problems.

Good stuff. I hope!

Blog Of The Week Round V

This week's patented Blog Of The Week award goes to Snuffy, a respected member of some messageboard communities.

And yes, Snuffy = Snuffleupagus. *thumbs up*

Isn't that reccomendation enough?

Anyway Snuffy's Blog is called Forex And High Yield Investing.

It's an honest look at the world of HYIPs, just like the other blogs I try to recommend. There are also links to Forex Trading informational sites and signal recommendations, forums and the likes. So the blog pertains to the more serious, do-it-yourself side of online investing as well. Good stuff!

Check it out. How could you not want to go visit a Sesame Street character's website? That's cred right off the starting block!

Udachu Fund

Well, I promised to bring you more seemingly solid, legit programs that are not wholly-private to diversify and produce a solid base for your online 'investments,' and that is exactly what I am doing. :)

Along with NS-FG (see the sidebar), Udachu Fund looks to be one of the more popular new guns in town.

A little bit of history never goes astray. When Udachu first arrived on the scene there was a bit of a hustle and bustle over a 'close working relationship with Chart Candle.' Which amounted to one measly phone call... However, it didn't take long for this miscommunication to be sorted and revealed that Udachu Fund is in fact an offshoot of a very real business called Udachu which does stuff like operate an actual trading floor (yes a real bricks and mortar building) from which investors can do their thing. I'm just skimming the history here for you guys, its up to you to go find out more details of course! The history is already laid bare for all to see in much greater detail, over at great sources of info like HyipDiscussion. No point in just recounting it verbatim. Go there, search for threads on Udachu and follow the story... at first they seemed fishy but as misunderstandings were sorted it turned out they are seemingly an awesome and legit opportunity. If nothing else its an interesting read.

Udachu offers a number of plans, but you need an invitation code to join - just click my link and mine will be handily provided for you. *cheeky grin* They provide a number of investment plans. The first is the Easy Pay Plan, wherein which one must pay $50 (and then can continue to deposit that much a month,) and get 8% profit compounded a month... till they reach the $500 mark.

At this point, the plan is automatically upgraded to the Novice plan. (There are other plans above this.) The Easy Pay Payment plan is kinda like an inhouse pool for Udachu and allows the average little guy to jump straight into their program. One can withdraw their principal after 90 days in the Novice plan. After that you can automatically enter the higher plans which yield higher returns and the like.

I won't go into details but suffice to say there is no reason not to sign up and at least check out all the details on their (unfortunately ugly-green) site! The site looks like it is auditioning for the army and has camouflaged itself accordingly.

Udachu Fund.

My recommendation is that it is the next Feeder Fund in terms of both reliability, transparency, respect and most importantly, it is accessible to the little guy. Check it out for sure... Much better to spend your time at Udachu then somewhere like Fast Market.

As of my last research, the $50 plan is going to end on the 31st of December... so if you want to get in for less than a $500 minimum, jump in now! Time is literally of the essence if you only have a small amount to commit and like the looks of their opportunity.

Updates - December 19th 2005

FastMarket

Recently, FastMarket released plans for some specials, etc. to take place over the Christmas period. These included increased interest rates and the like. This was most likely a bad sign, a desperate last bid for cash but I didn't mention either way because I am lazy and was waiting till the time of my next withdrawal before commenting...

That time has come. And my withdrawal is not working. I will continue to try it over the next few days and keep you posted if it works. But for now, Fastmarket remains on watch and has probably been bumped up the ladder a bit in terms of caution. If you haven't made a spend there, and are looking for such a similar HYIP, try something like Private Opps instead for now.

AlienTrust

Well, Alientrust keeps on keeping on and just today they finished their server migration.

"Good Morning Everyone,

We've successfully moved the system over to the new server but we still have some issues. Apparently Apache2 is not compatible with our software - there's a shock, but for the most part things are working fine.

Surfing is being credited, sign ups SEEM to be working and we're getting upgrades coming in.

Email on the other hand - not so much.

This is one of the major problems we're having on 2X200 as well, and the reason we've not sent any email there, because the server is stripping the headers and parsing them into the actual emails.

This isn't a problem if you're on a hosting account email such as alientrust.com etc., but if you're using a web-based, or ISP email address - it's gonna get blocked - and we're finding that a lot at 2X200 and of course that will happen here as well until we get that fixed.

Another MAJOR issue is that the admin control panel doesn't function at all - it just reloads the index page so we can't approve sites - do cashouts - nothing.

So.......

We're waiting right now on the Dedicated Server Team to arrive at work - how dare they sleep! So that we can get this ironed out. A simple rebuld of APache back to 1.3 should do the trick, but we're not sure at this point if that's even a possibility.

We may end up having to go server shopping again - dammit!

In any event - that's the latest - like to keep you guys in the loop.

Still no love from E-Gold - we may need to all fly to Florida and kick some a**!

We'll keep you updated as we find out what's up.

If anyone see's anything funky - please send us an email to admin at alientrust.com

Thanks everyone and have a great day :)

V"

This is all good news, and interestingly I noticed their admin runs a more traditional company, "NS (North Shore) Media." A sign of legitimacy I hope, and a sign that the program will run for a while yet. Another element of sustainability within the program I discovered is that you cannot just compound in $8 increments... if you have a $16 account for example, you need $16 to compound, and so on and so forth.

12DailyPro

E-Gold is back by the way! And 12 Daily Pro are trying now to make batch payments and catch up on their E-Gold payments, but processing is very slow at the moment. C'mon E-Gold, pull your head out of your ass!

Neverending Stori

There's some competitions and the like running on the Neverending Stori now, however I am just waiting for their tech Ivan to get out of hospital and restore the system and the missing data! When this happens, I will be highly reccommending this to you all, but for now its sits tight and lets get through these teething problems.

Northern Calm - spread the word! :P

MPDW Update

Well it's been another one of those so-called winning weeks at MPDW.

The program gained a 3.50% return on units. They also gave us the good news that they've passed the 50,000 units purchased mark... these guys are going strong.

They had a slight delay in replying to emails earlier this week... nothing to worry about. It was due to snowboarding mishap!

Private Opps/Int Gold

Well, I haven't talked about any payment processors yet, and unfortunately my first post relating to them is going to be a negative one. But bad news was to be expected when it comes to IntGold, as they have been stuffing and screwing with the general public for a while now, and recent rumbles have indicated they've been nicking people's money.

Well, it appears that last night the FBI and the Secret Service raided IntGold's offices. Why? They suspected them of fraud. If anyone has an IntGold account and can still access it, now would look like the time to get your cash out.

IntGold was always less transparent and free moving than E-Gold, and one had to undertake stringent identification tests to even be allowed to touch their own money.

And who did I get this update from? Private Opps. They seem to be turning even more communicative and chatty lately - sending lots of emails with detailed updates. The thing is - they don't even USE IntGold! They just felt like giving us all an update. :-)

A bit of the Christmas spirit right? Maybe they should start up a news service.

Still Digging Alien Trust

Well, as the title says, I'm still digging Alien Trust, and they are keeping us informed... The latest email says thus:

"Hi,

Tonight at 12 Midnight server time we will (finally)
migrate the website over to the new server.

It's taken some time to properly set it up and prepare
for this but we're now ready to make the move.

Please DO NOT login to surf tonight - I know many
people like to get their surfing in right after the
change over - tonight the site will be unavailable
completely so that we can ensure that NO ONE can
access it to surf or make any other changes to the
database.

Don't forget - tonight at Midnight (server time)
Alien Trust WILL go offline for about 2 hours to move
the site to our new high speed server.

Thanks and we'll see you on the other side.

The Alien Team
AlienTrust.com"

So, no need to panic when it goes down temporarily. Remember, the withdrawal window is a 12 hour period on Fridays and all you need is $35 in your cash balance. No need to have expired units or anything.

Saturday, December 17, 2005

Private Opps Update

Well, Private Opps are alive and kicking and are continuing to beef up their security.

They sent out an email to inform us all in their infinite wisdom that they have now implemented a turing number system to avoid brute force hacks and the like.

And in their words - "The Turing Test is the first in a series of upcoming security enhancements. Next on our list is the ability to configure IP-based access restrictions! Stay tuned!"

They seem to be taking this all quite seriously... which is a good sign. Maybe they are legit? Time will tell. Either way, I think they're settled in for the long haul for the forseeable future.

GoldenRocks Strategy

I have a repeat reader and his name is Sharp11. Coincidentally he has more foresight and intelligence then me and pointed out a hole in my Goldenrocks spend (I took one three month spend.)

""I will like to say for Goldenrocks, it is better to go for the 1 month rather than 3 month.

Calculation
========
eg. $100 - initial amount

after 1 mth, $190 reinvest
after 2 mth, $361 reinvest
after 3 mth, $685.9 ====> 685% vs 415% (3 mth quoted in Goldenrocks)

And best is in between the 3 rounds of investment, you can choose to take some of the profit to spend or reinvest in other programs, like Tingerinvest / ASCfin.

Keep up the good work in your blog, have a great day.""

My first fan mail - aren't you all proud? Remember, there's more and more semi-useful content here all the time so you can use the handy dandy Google search box up above to search through the archives or you could be an avid reader and go back to the beginning and read up! Remember, bookmark me. You know you want to.

Oh, and you can contact me via the new Contact Me link over there yonder in my basic template sidebar. Creative right?

And remember, it's okay to comment!

Emailcash

Time for something a little different to shake things up a little.

First, Emailcash, in some ways, is a PTR and PTC. This means Pay-To-Read and Pay-To-Click. It's an Australian program (there may be an American version or something but to tell you the truth I am too lazy to find out! If you got the inside word on such a thing, comment please.)

Basically, you sign up, you click daily surveys, you do larger surveys, once in a while you get pay-to-read emails, etc. and it all adds up to points. Compared to HYIPs it may be a mere pittance a day, but if you make it part of your habit, its easy. Points convert to dollars at roughly 100 points to 1 dollar.

Emailcash is growing all the time and is a legit company. Lately I have been receiving about 2 pay to read emails a day (I used to get about 1 a month.) Unlike the proliferation of sites out there that just flog pay-to-search engines, it is a legit company with legit and targeted advertising... you'll often get car deals, holidays, phone deals, etc. advertised to you. Its all very bright and professional. Surveys will often net you a quick and easy 200 points or more.

You can request cashout at $30 for a cheque. They also have auctions etc., and the last NEW CAR they auctioned went for $800 Australian or so. Wicked value, and they have an EBank where you can earn a reasonable interest off your Emailcash points... so, just think, if you keep saving and saving... that mere pittance of a few cents could be worth it in the long run!

Anyway, I don't know if this available outside of Australia, but for those in Australia who want to check it out, here it is:

Emailcash.

Its an entertaining site with little games and an active forum and the like, it acts as a community and fun spot, like many of these sites do... So I'm filing it under "Fun and Games."

Catch you all later,
Chancer.

Beef Up Your Browsing

Well today I thought I would digress a bit to tell you about a nice, free, anonymous web-based email client that we can all sign up for - Safe Mail.

Safety and anonymity can and should be a very important part of your web browsing, especially when dealing with things like HYIPs.

Most denziens of the net swear by it, and a free account will net you a 3 meg account storage space. Sure, it may not be the 1 gig that Gmail offers (or whatever they offer now) but it is a simple, safe, unobtrusive bit of email kit.

Check it out... *two thumbs up!*

If you haven't already, don't forget to check out Firefox - there's a button on the sidebar. All steps in the process of making your computer more safe and secure (or at least basic stuff the average user can do without too much mucking around!)

NS-FG - New Solid Program

Miss out on Feeder Fund? Feeling like a punk? Well, in my infinite wisdom I am endeavouring to bring you a new round of more solid/transparent investments that are (semi)private, give good returns and will help you build a solid investment base.

Today we're talking about the North Sea Forex Group.

They don't run a website, and are operated via email - therefore there's no chance for DDOS attacks, etc.

I won't talk too much about them, besides offer the following information -

There's a nice solid interview with them at - Trinary's Blog Interview

Go to HYIP Discussion (always my forum/message board of choice!) and check out the threads on them there, there's a lot of meaty reading to do before you make your choice.

Paul, their web admin, posts over there as Grubling and is a friendly, real-seeming chap.

And they've got the approval of DevilBoy, a notoriously hard-to-please DDer on HYIP Discussion!

The entry minimum is $100, and so far returns have been between 20 and 30% a month, which is a solid return for sure, especially from a legit operation.

So far, from all my reading and research, I love these guys. Not having a website may be a bit complicated at first, but once you get the hang of it, it is a cinch.

I took the plunge about three weeks ago and will get my first payment during January.

To get more info email NS-FG. It'll send you an information autoresponder, with details on how to proceed further (you must then send an application email.)

Don't really know what else to say about these guys... all the info about them is out there for your own discretion, they're transparent and friendly, and they've got the support of some of the biggest guns/players in the arena!

Ciao.

12DP Days Of Christmas Results

Well good news on the 12 Daily Pro front as the winner of the first prize has been announced - a subscription to Netflix. The winner was User. #. 20-something or over. Good on him, and good luck to the rest of you who entered.

A genuine promotion in autosurf land with real prizes? Who'da thunk it.

Remember - cash in on the positive buzz, it's never too late to join for a test spend. (No guarantees of course! :-) )

The song keeps on neverending

Now it's time for the obligatory Neverending Stori Update -

Gordon has sent out more emails about the problems, and all our missing data and info should return soon - 'fear not' says he, and I tend to believe him.

Also, he has made an attempt at explaining the system in more detail over at the NesCafe forum - check it out.

If you're not in this already I reccomend you get in now.

It comes from the mind behind Global Mutual, who is an honest real guy. It's a combination of HYIP and Venture Capital and etc. but there are also elements of Multilevelmarketing, but not to an overpowering extent.

If you have a spare $100 support the underdog and get a Pecunix account! Its my reccomendation - but remember don't take my word as gospel, I just think it would be great to get into this at the beginning. I'm holding onto hope and will update you all when the account problems are vanquished. It will be an interesting ride, but if you can't spare $100 don't do it, but I'm sure many of you can!

I am contemplating opening multiple Pecunix/Nestori accounts, based on my faith in the system.

Neverending Stori

Remember, Global Mutual is still going strong after 400 days, and Gordon has a real vision and a real business plan.

Feeder Fund

Well boys and girls...

Today came a surprise bit of news as Feeder Fund closed its doors to new investors - this is a good way of going genuinely private I believe as they did not advertise the closure before hand to attract new investors.

I'm glad I'm in, too bad if you're not - I will keep you all updated on what will surely continue to be one of the greatest investment clubs/ventures online.

In the near future, I will endeavour to bring you a few more very solid, reliable programs with a lot of transparency to add to your portfolio... or to take the place of Feeder Fund if you were unable to get in in time!

Ciao.

Updates - December 12th 2005

Well time for another round of program updates.

MPDW

MPDW has implemented a new splash page and agreement. This week was another good trading week with a nice 3.25% return. Nothing much to report here - which is a good thing! If you're not in already, it's a good bet, and with the rapidly rising gold price you'll earn even more off these guys due to the fact you buy and sell grams of gold to get your investment units... a double investment!

Alientrust

I am liking Alientrust so far, it could indeed have a 'bit of go' in it like 12 Daily Pro has had (and continues to have.) Some people have pointed out that payout requests can only be made for 12 hours on friday... Unlike 12 Daily Pro who pay out automatically. This is not as complicated as it seems though as every day you earn off your units the total goes directly into your cash balance, from which you can request withdrawal on Friday. So therefore your units don't have to expire for you to withdraw. So I think this balances out any problems and is just a good idea to help sustain the program. They also send email updates regularly with nice honest language and a use of mild slang ("ya" "wanna") - I personally like this as it makes the admins seem like they have personalities.

PrivateOpps

Well, I got a withdrawal honoured instantly from PrivateOpps. Good stuff! They have implemented a new splash page security feature in which you must manually click something to enter the sites - some technical voodoo to allow IP verification and avoid another DDOS attack. They said they'd implement it in an email and three hours later it was operation - these guys are definitely on the ball at the moment.

FastMarket

There's been a bit of buzz about FastMarket at the moment but it seems a lot of the complainants haven't added $50 to the program. See, you get (or used to get - I am unsure if they still offer it) a $50 free bonus... but to withdraw from that you have to match it with $50 of your own. A lot of people have launched complaints but it seems that a good lot of these people, when asked if they have matched the $50 free bonus just draw blank expressions.

From bigger investors and those who have matched the $50, I am still hearing good word and instant withdrawals - although recently they have had a script glitch once in a while (just try again later) and were hit a little by E-Gold's downtime.

GoldenRocks

Still going strong - a mate of mine just received a large payout right on time. I'm still awaiting my first one - I went in for a three month haul. Some people did not receive payments on time due to E-Gold downtime but everything is back on track now.

More Neverending Stori Updates

Received an email, with one key point -

"Some members may not be able to access their details until the upgrade is complete."

So I take it this is more confirmation that our details will return. Lets hope!

The song that never ends...

Another day, another Neverending Stori chapter.

Well, "The Editor" has posted over on HYIPInvestment Rate Check that:

"The Editor, 11.12.2005 (posted from IP: 210.211.126.xxx)
The NES Site is still undergoing upgrades, so some info is not available."

I've deciphered this to mean our missing data (the info) rather than some new news or something.

So looks like everything is back on track. Still have faith in Gordon of course.

On a side note, Alien Trust is treating me well so far, it would be quite 'choice' as we say if it ends up being the next 12 Daily Pro.

A New Medium Risk Venture

Well today it is time to unveil the little engine that could - Goldenrocks.

It has been quietly chugging along for over 12 months (that's why I have it listed as medium risk rather than high) with no signs of problems (besides some slowdown because of all the e-gold glitching lately)... however the return it offers is the startling thing.

For the minimum amount of $50 and the minimum holding period of one month you will net 190% back directly into your e-gold account... (90% profit.)

That's an even higher payout ratio than 12 Daily Pro.

Are they legit? Probably not with those returns unless they have discovered a miracle, but it's not impossible!

Other positives - there's no referral fees so it's not like they are bombarding us looking for new funds to payout the old ones.

And on their forum there is quite a detailed and interesting background and story that sounds quite reasonable.

Besides that there's not much else transparency - they just keep paying and paying. Put your money in for longer, get higher returns.

Who knows where they're going, but I'm in with a punt.

Goldenrocks.

The Neverending Stori...

... is pissing me off right now.

Not too much, mind you, and I have faith in it.

But over the past few days it has become apparent that there is missing data (i.e. earnings, referrals) for the past week or so. I didn't mention this at first because I was looking for an update on the situation so I could give you all some solid news or hope but as it stands I have no idea. All the word from Gordon is so far has been, from a few days ago...

"We are working on Script Updates." HYIP Investment rate check.

They've fixed all their problems in the past (GMI that is) so I'm hoping this data isn't permanently lost. Neverendingstori sure is going through quite a few growing pains but hopefully it'll even out soon.

Apparently they have a Nes Cafe Forum now. Not many posts there yet, some interesting stuff on Nestori's inception... But no mention of the data-roll-back.

I'll keep you posted and try to get to the bottom of things.

Global Mutual
is still going strong, no problems there.

Blog Of The Week Part Four

Well time for another update - I'll be back later with lots of little updates on the programs and tips etc. as well as maybe a longer article on some new programs (at least for this blog) and maybe post something over on NoBS HYIP Blog.

Part Four of Blogs Of The Week (kind of) brings us Rabbit's High Yield Programs Blog. It's a good blog (check it out!) from one of the more trusted members of the HYIP Discussion community. He takes a few more risks than people like Trinary and always seems to have his fingers in a few autosurfing pies.

He's got the most posts on HYIP Discussion too by far (10,000 + whereas the next highest is around the 4,000 mark...) and he's posted pics of himself before when he travelled to such things as a PIPs convention. So, he's a real dude, which is nice to know.

*thumbs up*

Another trusted blog to add to the rotation list.

E-Gold Problems

Since E-Gold is experiencing problems, so are some sites with their payouts.

Just received an email from Private Opps, telling me not to worry if withdrawals are not processed instantly.

Same goes for 12 DailyPro - they are having trouble paying batch payouts on their website.

Just remember the sky is not falling down people - innundating programs with requests for something that is out of their control will not help anyone, and could be detrimental to the running of their program in the long run.

Expect normal operations to resume soon.

Neverending Stori Down Again

This time for hardware updates according to the site. I hope these growing pains get out of the road soon, it seems like rather than reading the first chapter we are watching an author write it... But like I said, I have faith in Gordon and co. and still remain intrigued by the concept.

Alientrust - The Next 12 Daily Pro?

Although I think that 12 Daily Pro is going stronger than ever and will continue to do so for quite a while yet (here's hoping that 'quite a while' translates into 'ages') I think there is no harm in diversifying.

12 Daily Pro came out of nowhere with a new idea in the autosurf world - high percentages for low amounts of days. The seven day (max) wait for payment period of course streamlined their business plan. It is not that they were the first high percentage site - just that they did it professionally and sustainably, hence their dominant position in the market.

A lot of high yield autosurf sites have popped up ever since, most of them being scams.

I have been keeping an eye on them considering which one to pop a few test spends into, and I think I have found just the ticket.

Alientrust.

Now, why Alientrust? So far, they have got a good track record. They recently jettisoned E-Gold as a payment option because of a security breach but have just returned to it due to popular demand.

Why do I think this site is a good bet and will sustain itself for quite a while to come?

It stands out from the other autosurfs, although offering a similar percentage return to 12 Daily Pro. It takes on a unique video game/space/fight aliens theme, all in a very well designed site that uses cool looking flash. Obviously a lot of thought and effort has gone into the aesthetic design, as well as the plans - a surfer progresses through three plans, designed like levels in a video game.

These video game elements might also draw a new user base into the autosurf world by proxy through its video game design - maybe some less intense/educated gamers will be attracted to it (the sort of gamers who don't know what Counterstrike and Battlefield are) and are looking for some simple net games. A game where they can earn money? Cool.

Although professional in its design, there is also a level of personality amongst the admins, and they post frequently in the forums with honest sounding updates, asking for input on things. Which in my mind is another good sign.

I never liked Hitzpay or GCISurf so I'm glad I didn't invest in them (though if i got in early I would have been profitable) but I am quite fond of Alientrust, just like I was of 12DailyPro.

Recommendation? At this point in time there's not much to say, just, if you're looking for something new, and have a spare $8.00 give it a shot. It could be something big, it may not... Worth a test spend at least (if you can afford it of course. *thumbs up*.)

Shares at the first Mission Level (Epiphany) cost $8.00 each for a return of 10% a day for 14 days. Therefore you will earn 140% on each surf unit.

Alientrust.

I'll keep you posted on my progress in the program.

Neverending Stori And Global Mutual Downtime - Update

Well, just received an email from the Nestori Admin that informs me that the sites are back in working order - and indeed they are.

Good stuff.

Neverending Stori And Global Mutual Downtime

I appear to have found the reason behind my inability to access the sites today, in the HYIP Investment rate check, a place where the real Gordon (not imitators) often posts updates. This is what I am basing its legitimacy on, although I as of yet have not received the mail he mentions detailing the problem -

"Gordon, 08.12.2005 (posted from IP: 210.211.126.xxx)

Erick, Read your mail please, and read the admin forum posts.

Our IT has gone down with a broken leg, and is in hospital.

Servers are playing games on us too."

Updates - December 8th 2005

Well, another day, some more news from the HYIP world.

Continuing with the running theme on focussing on those programs I've listed...

FeederFund

Got the figures from my programs in Feederfund for this month.

ITS payed out 6.88% for October, and FXIG did 14.41%. FXIG's rates are a little lower than the past because recently they announced that they were cutting out Friday as a trading weak due to thinner and riskier forex trades, as well as the fact that apparently their main (only?) trader is 65 and was working 14 hours a day. Let's cut the guy some slack - he's still producing wicked results!

PrivateOpps

Earlier, I stated that PrivateOpps (which stands for Private Opportunities for anyone who hasn't worked it out yet) was suffering a DDOS attack... these scant few hours later I have already received an update stating that it is under control and a new security system which confirms IP addresses is in place. If all goes according to plan and with a bit of good luck these guys look like their gonna be around for a while and going GOOD places instead of going to Bermuda with all our money. Who knows, they might even be fully legit? Time will tell.

12DailyPro

12DailyPro has already responded to the difficulties E-Gold has been facing today (people having trouble sending money, etc.) by releasing a news item that some batch payments will not be processed till tomorrow. As usual, they are quick on the ball.

I've purchased a few 12Dp Days Of Christmas Clicks as well... I hope some of it is actually going to charity! So far I think it's a great Christmas Promotion/Competition.

Later,
chancer.

Riskier Investments - Higher Returns

UPDATE II - It turns out that maybe Domain names are still big business - I posted this article of mine over on NoBS Hyip Blog as well in the past few hours and someone left a comment leading to this article Business 2.0 - Masters Of Their Domain. Well, that proves that the investment vehicles that PrivateOpps purports to invest in are still viable - the question is, are they actually investing in them?

UPDATE - As of now I just received an email from Private Opps explaining they are under a DDOS attack. Their communications are always quick and helpful, and so far I have never felt left in the dark. I feel confident they will overcome this quickly, as they have faced similar attacks in the past - also, for me the site is still working! Whether or not this is legitimate or a ponzi, it is definitely well designed, and at this point in time, well run. *thumbs up for communication at least*

Today I'm going to look at Fast Market and Private Opps.

I would class these HYIPs as somewhere between high and low risk.

For me, I have taken a gamble on them besides my usual low risk options for investment
because I was intrigued by both their track records, and different methods of approach.

Something that stood out for me was that neither site is based on a template or existing
investment design.

Instead, Private Opps has its own custom site and script, that is actually quite neat and pretty (as if some effort went into it) and it purports to invest your funds into different no/low-risk clubs, with differing interest rates and different entry rates.

Fast Market has a spiffo Flash Presentation to open the site and has been around for months now. Obviously some effort went into its creation as well. The site itself appears to based on their own custom, complicated script as I have not seen it elsewhere either. There are different methods of compounding, and it genereates unique referral tags, etc.

Fast Market have been for a long time offering a $50 free bonus, that you must now add $50 of your own money to to match and be able to withdraw from.

This is what first interested me in these two sites - their unique style and the fact that someone obviously went to the effort to create them.

Professionals, or professional scammers?

At the moment, Private Opps is paying after the maturity periods (after which you get principal + interest) and you can choose to let your funds grow even longer. I haven't heard of any purported problems yet and it has been smooth sailing for me. The interest rates vary roughly between 0.5% a day and 1.4% a day (most interest rates for the clubs are variable.)

There has been minor DD conducted on Private Opps, with no educated parties really coming to a conclusion either way. A lot of the elements of the program look promising, but then again a plan "Domains" offers a fixed interest rate... since when is the selling of domain names still big business? *scratches head.*

For me it still represents a good bet - if it's the real deal I'll be smiling all the way to the bank, and if it is a scam, well, the well-designed scams tend to last a while longer. I'm holding out for my latest maturities and am keeping an eye on any DD.

It's been going strong for a few months now.

Recommendation? For a medium risk HYIP with good returns - quite good at the moment. It's
no Feederfund, but if you have a spare $100 to buy the minimum number of units and feel like taking a slightly more adventurous 'investment' route it could be the way to go. Just remember to have a solid investment base before you take a punt on riskier HYIPs.

I'd choose it over 65/75/xx/daily anyday, that's for sure. (Except for 12DailyPro though, they're the bomb!)

Fastmarket offers interest rates between 0.5% a day all the way up to 3.2% based on how much you invest. I have taken a bet on this program since the free $50 was available and so far have been happy.

However, there are more red flags raised about this program at the moment then there are Private Opps (i.e. nothing really at the moment.)

Uncommunicative support, refusal to cooperate with DDers (those who have tried have been given the run around) and lately probelms with withdrawals - which they are apparently trying to fix now according to their forum. (E-gold had a script glitch, then was disabled due to a shortfall of E-gold and all investors had to withdraw via wire transfer...)

Despite that, I've always had no problems withdrawing with E-Gold from them.

On a side note, a forum can often be a good sign, or used to instill a sense of fake security.

Despite Fastmarket's problems I still place them in my medium risk category of HYIPs... I feel strangely safe with them but know they are most likely not a real opportunity.

It will be interesting to see whether they fix their withdrawal problem in the coming weeks or go the way of the dinosaur. As of now, they have been going strong for quite a few months.

There has been a whole back and forth saga with their DD over on places like Hyip Discussion. They provided trade documents to verify but then people complained there wasn't enough money in their trading accounts. Fastmarket responded that it was just a new smaller account used as an example.

Besides a forum they also have a chatroom and have updates from their trader/s with an overview of what trades he made during the month. Reportedly, (once again from forums such as Hyip Discussion) there are investors with investments upwards of $50,000 who are happily receiving payments... Apparently also these large investors are allowed to see trade records/reports. I wouldn't exactly go pigeonholing this in the same secure league as MPDW though!

Recommendation? If you're not in yet, and are serious about your online investing, I would wait a while... If you've got lots of spare cash, are a gambler and feel like a $10 - $50
punt? Might be worth your while. Keep an eye on them though.

Global Mutual And Neverendingstori Updates

Well for the past few hours neither the Global-Mutual website or the Neverending Stori websites have been loading for me - I take it this is a temporary issue (Global Mutual has experienced downtime in the past) and will return.

I'll keep you posted. Nothing to worry about yet - is anyone able to access them?

Updates - December 7th 2005

A few little things went down today...

- NoBS returned the favour of a blog mention and mentioned it on their front page...

Which I promptly followed up with a nice juicy post about Neverendingstori - most of the info I have posted here but there's some new stuff amongst it.

Some of my future posts at NoBS I may repost here, just to keep everything nice and organized and give my site some more words - as if it doesn't have enough already! I think I've done a good job of keeping it updated and pumped full of meaty content juice so far. If there's anything you'd like to see me do, or write about, just leave a comment.

Go check it out at NoBS Hyip.

- I've added a search box at the top of the page to assist you in your hyip research - remember, if you follow my advice (if I ever give advice amongst the verbosity) I offer no guarantees, I just try to present you with a good opportunity. Remember, Google is your friend and can be a wealth of information, helping you sort the wheat from the chaff. And you'd doing me a favour by using this site's search box!

- Got my ITS interest in Feederfund as well, but since they still haven't updated their news I'll wait till they do that.

- A bit of a celebration, as I have apparently had over 1000 visitors since inception, which was less than a week ago. I'm very happy with that, but remember - feel free to comment, click ads and buy stuff through Amazon. If you like the site it helps me out!

I'll be starting my entertainment related blog soon which consist of musings and product reviews (and thanks to the magic of Amazon I'll have links to the products so you can buy them directly and cheaply online! Think of it as my own branded little shop.) And before any of you complain that I don't give bad reviews - it's because I'll be more interested in showing you stuff I love, rather than the shit I don't!

Wheat from the chaff people, wheat from the chaff.

Oh, and since I've pretty much given this site the name of Northern Calm, I suppose my entertainment blog is gonna be Stormy South. Tres cool, right? Calm in the north for investing, and stormy skies for the rock and roll - just like it should be.

I'll keep you posted. If you're new, browse through the archives.

Later,
chancer.

Blog Of The Week Part Three

So today's blog of the week (which would be more aptly titled Blog Of Every Two Or Three Days) is the NoBS Hyip Blog.

Nobs? Hey, isn't that the plural of a derogatory term in England and Australia? Why no, Johnny, it's not... This is the American phrasing. As in, "No BS."

So yes, it's a No Bullshit HYIP blog, and what is it doing to stand out from other blogs out there?

Why, it's being a multi-user site. That means that it is a community blog, and various members from the HYIP community can go over there and post their post.

Good stuff, mostly news and updates on a variety of programs.

And you can't beat a website with the name Nobs.

NoBS HYIP Blog.

Global Mutual Update

Just received (i before e except after c) an email from Global-Mutual with the latest round of updates from Gordon.

The VCShares issue (wherein which old plans are being converted to shares) was explained in more detail, and seems interesting to say the least. It is part of Gordon's attempt to separate the shares/lower earning plans from the HYIP part of Global Mutual (more risk) as far as I can tell.

Also, on the Neverendingstori front, apparently a bunch of rip off sites have popped up out there in internet land - beware. Use my link and you're sure to get to the right site! :P

There's some other good news about the company, before Gordon illustrates some of his health problems and admits to some of his marketing problems.

He acknowledges his copy-writing problem, and his lack of skills in the marketing department (at least compared to his financial skills) and has put out a call to help with presentation.

In my opinion, this is all good news and I see GMI sticking around for a long time yet, and maybe if someone takes him up on his offer for help we might all...

a.) Understand what the hell Nestori is all about behind the curtain.
b.) Have a flasher looking Global Mutual website!

Oh my God! I couldn't get 12DailyPro's website to load...

Oh wait, five minutes later its working.

Skilljam - Play Games Online, Win Money.

So, time for another way to make money on the internet and have a bit of fun at the same time - Skilljam.

It's a respected site with a lot of tetris/columns/colour-matching style games on it and has been around for a while.

It's a bit different to the other opportunities on this site - you can't pay for it with online currencies like e-gold (though you can use Paypal) and I ended up signing up with a credit card.

But, I did end up taking that plunge and haven't stopped playing Tetris for three days straight now.

If you're good at the games, it's a good opportunity to make some quick cash. Just don't forget to concentrate - you're playing for money.

They also have a selection of VIP tournaments, and lots of bonuses like "jampoints" which can be traded for cash.

Currently you can fund it for $24.95... That buys you one month's subscription to VIP with a bonus month (2 months all up) and $10 money to play with.

You could also fund your account with $10 only, and miss out on the benefits of VIP members.

All in all, it's a highly addictive little site, and if you think you've got the skills, give it a shot.

Skilljam

Just drop me an email with the topic "Skilljam" and I will send you an invitation.

Enjoy, happy playing.

Oh yeah, you can always sign up for a free account with a free $6 with which to muck about with too! All the more reason to try them out, get addicted and probably end up with RSI. *thumbs up*

Remember - paypal or credit card.

12DP Days Of Christmas

Well, 12Daily Pro have sprung on us their Christmas "surprise" and I will admit I am surprised.

I was expecting some lame "get more % every day you surf" style promotion, but instead they have come up with a cool little themed promotion that promotes not only 12 Daily Pro but charities as well, with lots of prizes up for grabs (over the 12DP days of Christmas,) increasing in value all the way up to a new car from Ebay Motors.

To enter, you just have to buy $6 worth of clicks (300 clicks) for charities... The equivalent of buying a ticket.

I think its cool, if all goes according to plan, everybody wins.

If you were waiting to stick a bit of cash into 12 Daily Pro why not try now? Although Christmas is usually the bad season for HYIPs I have a feeling 12DP will stick around. No guarantees of course, but it looks good!

Minimum $6 spend.

12 Daily Pro

Monday, December 05, 2005

Updates - December 5th 2005

Well, what's going on in the wonderful world of HYIPs today you may ask?

Continuing the theme of only concentrating on what I've mentioned in the blog....

MPDW

Got a 3.35% weekly return from MPDW this week so I promptly bought some more units. Everyone seems to have faith in this one, me included. Good stuff.

12DailyPro

Got another one of my payments from 12DailyPro today (I've always got two separate payments running in it - a little trick for those who didn't know, if you haven't surfed for the day you can buy a second surf package.) It was a nice juicy payment right on time... Unfortunately it was after I surfed so I will reinvest tomorrow.

Feederfund

Received my FXIG payment in Feederfund... Won't post the percentages, etc. till they post their news update (mainly because I couldn't be stuffed working out how much it was.)

Added some more to that too.

Neverending Stori

I'm still watching my account with interest every day. I still don't see how it works but it sure looks cool, and my interest seems to be escalating at a good rate. According to the admin someone is already reaching break even point. I won't say much more as we are not meant to, besides, if you've got a spare $100 and wanna spend it on something that could turn out to be, in the parlance of the times, 'the bomb,' sign up! (I'm not making any guarantees so don't blame me if it doesn't work it out. Like I said, a SPARE $100... never 'invest' what you can't afford to lose.)

I'm promoting it heavy because I like it. Duh.

Global Mutual

Today they announced they are converting some of their old private funds over to VCShares... (with a 50% bonus on their current value.) Lots of info over in the forum, it's a few more steps towards Gordon's goal. Current plans remain as is.

All good! The money keeps rolling in.

Blog Of The Week Part Two

Yeah, I know it hasn't been a week but it's not like any of you pay attention.

So here comes Blog Of The Week round two.

This week/point in time I am going to direct you to a blog known as HYIP Needed Info. This blog is run by a guy called Dmitriy Loktionov, who is Russian.

Much like his country (or at least my illeducated stereotypical view of it) he is no nonsense and to the point! His site endeavours to complete Due Dilligence of programs and show you what is legit and what is not. If you want quick bites of pure facts and information (about the sites he is DDing) his blog is a one stop shop.

He asked me for a link exchange and I checked his site out and was impressed by his methods, and he keeps us updated on whether the DD for programs he is researching is complete and passed, or if it has failed his due dilligence processes.

Oh, and he has recently taken up a no referral policy - so he's not in it for the money, he is just providing a service for the community.

Unlike me! *cheeky grin*

HYIP Needed Info

Go over there and get overwhelmed by WHOIS posts and facts and see if you've got enough brain processing power to take it all in.

Updates - December 4th 2005

So, how're the HYIPs and money going you may ask?

Well, got paid by 12Dailypro again in the past three days - can't remember if I've mentioned that yet!

Today I received my latest MPDW withdrawal, bright and early in the month as per usual. They even added a little happy Christmas message in my e-gold memo so they MUST be legit. :-) Nice to see some manners!

Last month's earnings for Feederfund will be posted soon, so I'll update you on that then.

My NEStori account is going along fine, on paper at least - even if I still really don't have a clue what it is doing. :-)

Well that's about it, I'm in a lot more programs and keep abreast of the news, but I won't start updating you on those till I actually mention them here first.

Happy investing.

P.S. Buy Earth Vs. The Wildhearts! It's super cheap used.

Interlude - What's in a name?

Well, here comes something different for a blog that's supposed to be about high yield investment programs and the such.

The name of my blog, 'Stormy In The North, Karma In The South' (Geddit?) comes from a Wildhearts song. The blog's url has been shortened to Northerncalm, for luck - I thought having stormy in the name might bring images of tumultuous times, which is want someone as an investor, or a faux-wannabe investor, does not want to experience.

So, I had the bright idea of telling you about where my name came from, and from that idea branched another idea - random album revies! I thought I would make the blog into a very random thing with HYIPs, investment news, and then album reviews, etc. but I have now decided to start another blog concentrating more on the entertainment side of things so that this blog may retain at least some semblance of purity towards its subject matter (that is, online opportunities.)

But - there's a problem! I haven't created this mystical new entertainment blog that will be indelibly intertwined with this one just yet, so I'm going to do a write up about the first Wildhearts album right here, and then probably repost it as my first post on my other blog because I am lazy.

This also ties in with all the online opportunities - any of my favourite bands, music, movies, books, etc. I talk about should have an Amazon link. If you like the product, you can now buy it through me and I will get a very much appreciated affiliate commission.

Tres cool.

So, I'll be talking about stuff I like, which will usually be left of center, slightly obscure... But it's not like I'm going to rant about some obscure fifth tier death metal guitarist or anything. The bands and music I talk about you could quite likely have heard of, but if you haven't, I can hopefully refer you to something new you might dig.

Over in my new blog, I will do a write up of who the Wildhearts were and why I love them so much, and why they never hit the big time like they should have. Check out their site...

The Wildhearts.

Great honest stuff...

But here is my article/review/ranting about their first album.

Earth Vs. The Wildhearts - The Wildhearts. (Originally released in August, 1993. UK Version.)

1. Greetings From Shitsville
2. TV Tan
3. Everlone
4. Shame On Me
5. Loveshit
6. Miles Away Girl
7. My Baby Is A Headfuck
8. Suckerpunch
9. News Of The World
10. Drinking About Life
11. Love You 'Till I Don't

Now, the Wildhearts exploded (or at least tried to) onto the scene during the era of grunge. The Wildhearts first album, Earth Vs. The Wildhearts (EVTW) was chock a block full of loud, catchy, melodic riff rocking with a charismatic front man with the shoutyness and balls of some of the great pop-rock frontmen, with just that write tinge of grit to his voice.

This was the problem - everyone was dressing in flannel and waving lighters slowly in the air, staring at the ground acting like communal drones and wishing for the end. The Wildhearts were HAPPY - they sung about bad things, sad things, the way life sucks, but they always done it with a pump-your-fist in the air attitude, which I always find to be a lot more productive than whining and being self-obsessed.

I'll make a big claim here - every song on the first Wildhearts album could have been a hit. It's packed with cretaceous riffs - those sort of riffs you think you've heard before, but quite possibly haven't. They're the sort of riffs that just EXIST, and seem like they always have, they were just waiting for someone to find them. Combine this with inventive and interestingly phrased lyrics and melodic choruses, guitar that alternates from crunchy to soaring with atmospherics (usually on the bridge to another bang your head chorus) and you have one of the last true rock bands, not moussed-up poseurs of today.

It was strange, all the songs on the album dealt with similar stuff to grunge like I mentioned. Those interesting and cool lyrics I mentioned?

The album opens like this -

"The paper's hanging off the walls, there's 'roaches dancing in the halls
you still pay your fortune to crawl down misery street
the euthanasia dream brigade are melting in the Hampstead shade
the zombies of life they parade down misery street."

Sure, it may be slightly verbose, and a lot of lyricists cop flak for such writing but Ginger keeps it real the whole time, he makes it fun and he keeps a sense of humour whilst being insightful. And it all just rolls off his tongue... Listening to the music you'd never guess there were any words topping one syllable. Sign of a true rock God!

And like I said, it does enter downbeat grunge territory, and the album may have dark interludes and deal with heavy stuff but it just makes you want to float.

My favourite albums are 'growers,' layered albums that you have to listen to many times before you truly appreciate them. Although there's no fifty-layers of instruments, atmospherics, and two-hundred time signature changes in this album it was still like that for me... New melodies crept up me all the time during my first few months of discovery.

Some of the highlights of the album initially included Greetings From Shitsville and Everlone... These songs hit me straight away and my love for them just increased. They were a mixture of crunchy-rock and with soaring crescendos and crashing riffs.

But even months after listening I had never even noticed the last song, Love U 'Till I Don't, which is now one of my favourite. Grower, see?

I swear there are tinges of AC/DC in their music, but it's more atmospheric and complicated then the Cult's attempt at AC/DCdom, "Electric" whilst still being crunchy (don't get me wrong, I'm a meat and potatoes rock man sometime, loving the leather pants and loud riffs and power chords so I'm an "Electric" fan too.) If you've never heard the Wildhearts before, and like AC/DC, U2, Cheap Trick, even the likes of Pearl Jam you'll probably find a lot of enjoyment in Earth Vs. The Wildhearts and you might even end up treasuring it the way I do.

A perfect introduction to the band.

There's even piano and gospel-tinged backup singers on some tracks! Old school.

9/10.

Blog Of The Week - New Feature!

What up dogs? Uh, anyway...

Welcome to my new weekly feature, aptly titled Blog Of The Week.

Don't expect me to keep a weekly schedule or anything, but here it goes, our first blog of the week.

Looking for advice on more reasonable investments that help grow a steady, long term, legit portfolio?

Looking for nice clear updates that actually make sense (unlike this blog?)

What if you could get all that and more from a trusted member of the HYIP community who has a massive post count at places like HYIPDiscussion and always tries to remain fair and unbiased?

So good natured in fact that she removes program links, etc. that she does not feel comfortable promoting! She's not a shameless shill!

Yes, she's a she! I think.

Chicks rule! *thumbs up*

It's Trinary from HYIPDiscussion's blog...

High Yield Investment And Gambling.

Check it, yo.

By popular demand, the faux-homeboy mannerisms might even cease by next blog entry. Don't count on it.

-- Look for something a little different next post as I decide where I really want to go with this little blog of mine!

Vorsprung Durch Technik - Safety Volume One

Security and such is a big thing on the net these days so I thought I'd say a few things about that.

Firstly, if you're a pleb and still using Internet Explorer, having being forcefed by Microsoft, go get Firefox.

What is firefox? Its another browser, that's faster, leaves a smaller footprint on your memory, and is much less susceptible to spyware and malicious attacks as it does not have all the security holes that other browsers do...

However, some people are arguing that as Firefox increases in popularity its flaws will begin to be exploited too.

But as of now, Firefox is the main challenger to the browser crown, and although there may be more secure niche browsers, they still remain niche and have problems with a lot of webpages.

Firefox also allows tabbed browsing, which allows you to browse multiple pages in one window, as well as having fancy things like a basic download manager.

The link I'm providing will give you Firefox with the google toolbar. And although I'm usually against toolbars, etc. Google's is not spyware oriented, doesn't chew up your computer and makes life easier.

So, yeah, my pick, when it comes to browsers - Firefox.

To grab Firefox, use that button over there in my sidebar under the subheading 'tools!' I couldn't work out how to put a button (or even if I could) into my post!

Over there -->

Ciao,
Have a nice day y'all.

News - December 3rd

Well it's Saturday here in sun-shiny slightly-outback Australia (which has been punctuated by absolutely awe inspiring electrical storms lately - a rarity for here. Especially when the lightning breaks off into five prongs and envelopes all corners of the sky... and doesn't stop for two days straight!)

So I thought I'd just say thanks to whoever my two NEStori referrals are! Good stuff, I have faith in the program and I hope it serves you well. I encourage others to join as well - because I love referrals! *shameless plug.*

The Neverending Stori

Also, I got another payout from 12 Daily Pro today, about 5/6 days after the expiry of one group of my units.

Good way to end the day!

MPDW - Market Professionals Deliver Weekly

...So do some newspapers.

But they don't deliver you cash like these guys - Market Professionals Deliver Weekly. Its another one of those opportunities I might like to classify as a solid or 'real' opportunity because there is a lot of transparency to their program.

Although the site is no frills and looks pretty basic, there is a lot more than a ponzi scam behind it, or at least that's what the buzz is on the internet.

Each week you will get returns on your units up to about 15%, but so far I have averaged returns of 3 - 4%. Withdrawals are processed early in each month.

I said units, not dollars - this is because each investment block must be purchased in units of 5 - the equivalent of 5 grams of gold. This eliminates legal wrangles and currency fluctuations, and, considering the way gold is rising in price right now its going to give you a little extra bonus dosh each time you withdrawal.

How are they so transparent? Why, when you buy 100 (used to be 50) units you become an elite member... and can actually watch the trading in progress on a viewer console. Also, the owners/operators do not hide and are quite visible. Neat huh?

So, all in all behind a boring front end lies the heart of perhaps one of the few 'actual legit' programs on the net that bring us high returns with actual trading going on rather than just a pyramid scheme variation.

You can also sell your units back after a period.

Cool, huh?

MPDW - Market Professionals Deliver Weekly.

I can make no guarantees, but if you're looking for a solid portfolio, I'd say add these guys to your list.

P.S. And the stock photo of the serious looking guy on the front page looks like a white version of a good lebanese friend of mine! So they must be good. :)

Let me tell you a little NEStori

Something relatively new and intriguing has caught my eye - The Neverendingstori.

But a stori has a beginning so here it is -

A long time ago (well, a few years) there was a man called Gordon Doherty. He had a financial vision to bring Venture Capital to the HYIP arena of online investing, and did so through Global Mutual.

Now, Global Mutual is, according to the site itself, not your typical HYIP. And so far, it has faced many problems - but throughout all these problems Gordon and co. have overcome adversity and steered Global Mutual back on track.

Currently, due to some hacking, and stealing of funds, the interest rates are down to 0.25% a day minimum in the normal plans. This is expected to go back up again shortly.

I can make no guarantees as to Global Mutual, but the Due Dilligence done by the likes of community experts like Derrik on the HyipDiscussion boards (see this thread for example) prove Gordon's willingness to be transparent. There are still some questions raised by the likes of Devilboy on those boards, and hopefully they will be answered soon.

The beauty of this, and the reason the questions can be answered, is because Gordon opens the doors of his actual, physical offices in Australia to anyone who wants to come check it out.

So, I have faith in Global Mutual, and it hasn't failed me yet. I would reccomend it - but as usual, I give no guarantees.

Global Mutual.

So, what is the Neverendingstori?

Why, it is an offshoot of Global Mutual with a unique concept behind it. I'm not supposed to discuss it any more than that - all I can say is you need $100 and a Pecunix (rather than E-gold, as of now) account!

I don't know too much about the NEStori, and I don't know what's going on behind it. But, I'm taking an educated leap with this one because those who have seen the concept behind it call it brilliant (refer back to Derrik's post for example, a trusted member of the community, over at Hyipdiscussion) and Gordon and Global Mutual (GMI) haven't failed me yet!

The Neverending Stori

I have a feeling this could be the next big thing, or at least the next cool and different thing!

Hey, but like I said, no guarantees! I'm championing them, because they are somewhat the underdog, much like Gordon states Pecunix is. And I love a good underdog rising up for victory!

Have fun, good luck and keep it real.

12 Daily Pro

Alright... You've got yourself a nice solid portfolio to start off with Feederfund, so lets try an autosurf with a much higher rate of return now - 12DailyPro.

Now, autosurfs are those programs where you sign up, buy some membership, and then earn a percentage of your membership back each day by surfing a set number of sites. The main principal behind it is - TV is free because of ads, why can't we receive some of the money from this advertising?

No autosurfers have gotten to the point of legitimate advertising yet, but 12DailyPro has revolutionized the industry.

You must surf 12 sites a day, for 12 days. Each day, you get 12%. Therefore you get a total of 144% on your investment.

After 12 days, you then must wait a maximum of 7 days for your money to be paid.

Amazing returns, and in the past programs like this have always been ponzis and scams.

12Dp is different... it has been going for six months and no sign of letting up yet.

As with any online investment, there is risk. But so far, so good.

If you're new and dropped some money in Feederfund, 12DailyPro is a good place to start for a more quick/high yield investment.

Remember the golden rule of HYIP land - play with the profits. If you drop $100 in, cycle once, and then recycle your $44 profit... there is no way you can lose.

And as of now, 12DailyPro looks rock solid. How long will it last? I cannot guarantee.

But I'm in like Flynn.

12 Daily Pro

Feederfund

So, now it's time for our first opportunity, and I'm starting off with one of the big guns. Go check out the likes of Hyipdiscussion, etc. for detailed discussions and analyses of Feederfund, but within the HYIP arena and online investing world they are considered rock solid and have been around for years.

Feederfund takes your funds and places them into legitimate (at least according to their thorough research) programs that otherwise would have too high a minimum for the average joe, such as $5000. Feederfund lets you start with $50.

It's beautiful, I love it, I'm not going to say much else besides its not really considered a HYIP, more of a legitimate online investment opportunity, with some of the programs offering returns of up to 20% a month. Which, if you work it out, is a massive return. If you're a newbie, and want to know where to start - this would be the place.

You have to wait like a month after depositing your money for it to be pooled, but it's worth it.

Feederfund

If nothing else, go check it out. Its a nice simple website, and much easier to understand than I could ever be. They also let you withdraw your principal + earnings at any time, so its a beautiful club.

Resources Part Uno

Well, welcome to the land of money.

We're mainly going to be talking about HYIPs. For the newbies out there that wanna know - what is a HYIP? It stands for High Yield Investment Program. Basic principal is, you give some company (or scammer) your money and then they pay you back a percentage of that daily, weekly, monthly, whatever. Yes, I said scammers. *gasp*

That's why I'm here - to try and help navigate you on a course of success, as, for the past year and a half, that's exactly what I've been doing.

I used to be excited about $3 payments once a month, now *much much larger* payments are a reality for me every day.

So, mainly we are going to be talking about HYIPs and their associated paraphenalia, like Autosurfs (a variation on the HYIP where you must surf advertising for your percentage return. More on that later.) Other opportunities will also get a look in (advertising, more traditional ventures, mutual funds, instructions on trading yourself, etc,) but let's not get ahead of ourselves.

But first, I want to share with you what is perhaps my favourite resource. When dealing with the HYIP world, always research, research, research... So you can avoid making the big losses I did when I first started.

I lost more than 60% of what I started with within the first two weeks...
But since then I have recouped that money many, many times over. Did I mention many? If you know what you're doing, HYIPs are lucrative stuff.

So, I want to help you make money, and be vaguely entertaining in an arrogant way in the process...

Others want to help you too - Hyipdiscussion.

The people there are a lot smarter than me, and a lot more well informed.

Oh, and they're a lot more coherent! Go check it out. It's a life saver, and unlike many other forums, there's a lot less bullshit and people spamming you just to get referrals or dodgy admins trying to flog flimsy programs.

ciao,
chancer.

Genesis

Everyone else is making blogs so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon. After all, it combines two of my favourite interests right? Money and writing.

Well, writing not so much, but its one of my occupations (even though you probably couldn't tell through my error-prone writing, bad grammar and paragraph formations - hey, its a blog, gimme a break.)

Money? Because everyone loves money. Sure, there's more to life, but by making money easier, we get more time for those other things in life, and less stress related to our next bill. I'm going to make this a blog about opportunities that exist online to make money. Why share these opportunities with you? Well, most opportunities - yes, even the legit ones - allow referral fees, which is where I get commissions if you sign up under me. Not all of them do. I'll still share the ones I like with you. Don't take my word as gospel either - all because I say I have faith in something, doesn't mean its infallible!

So, me being the slippery sort that I am, I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that some of you out there in internet land find it in your hearts to sign up under me!

Go on, do it, you know you want to...

What, you say, there are no opportunities posted here as of yet?

Oh. Well.

I suppose I should fix that.

So, how is this all going to work? Well, I'm going to make singular posts on opportunities I like, and grade them based on risk and legitimacy. Yes, some opportunities are risky. Please bear that in mind if you sign up under me! In fact, there is a level of risk too all of these so called 'investments' that I will ramble about...

Talking about rambling I will probably do that a fair bit too, and ramble about the different categories of 'investment,' computer security, online payment systems, and probably more and more foolish extracts from my life, as I get bored and decide to share with you my inner workings (feel free to scream.)

You know you want it.

Try to enjoy it.

chancer.
